<p>On Jan 27, we held all four corners of the main gate at Walter Reed for the second week in a row. Per last week's thread and report, the Pinkos have been relegated to an area about a block away such that the wounded and their relatives do NOT have to pass close by them to enter or leave Walter Reed Army Medical Center. We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond including numerous Protest Warriors and other patriots. Although the night was cool, it was still warmer than usual for a January night.</p>

On Friday the 13th, the Pinkos had an unlucky night. We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond. <p>On Jan 6, the first FReep of the new year, we had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond. It was too cold and windy to deploy the MOAB, Mother-of-all-Banners. This was FReep #38 as FReepers have countered the anti-troop hate group Code Pink at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for 10 months now. Code Pink was videotaped stealing one of the FReepers' signs and then caught red-handed (pink-handed?) after lying straight-faced to a police officer.  This happened after a stunning and brilliant tactic devised by kristinn. We were honored to be joined by the father and brother of Joshua Sparling, the war-wounded Walter Reed patient, who had received left-wing hate mail wishing for his death (see the multiple threads here). Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) met with leaders of the anti-American group Code Pink last week at the anti-Operation Iraqi Freedom meeting in Arlington, Virginia hosted by Rep. On Dec 30, the eve of New Year's eve, we had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond. As was true last week, the weather was quite mild for this time of year. Not even bothering to read through articles they post on their website, Code Pink's DC prima donna, Gael Murphy saw an article written by an anti-war Vietnam vet that was titled "The Cost of War at Walter Reed," and thought she had hit pay-dirt.So she posted it, apparently without reading it first.
