Code Pink is asking for the public’s assistance to overturn the Visa denials of two Iraqi women. The women applied for Visa’s in order to take part in a protest in Washington D.C. on March 8th. Code Pink describes the protest as: A delegation of Iraqi and American women, including mothers who have lost their children in this war, will travel to Washington DC to pressure the Bush administration, meet with Congresspeople, hold public events and strategize for future actions. It will be an emotional and historic time, and we'd love for you to be there. Once again Code uses...

To: Assignment Desk, Daybook Editor Contact: Pat Salomon, 301-990-7459 or 301-254-5297 (cell), Jean Athey, 301-570-0923, Info@PeaceActionMC.org News Advisory: What: Grandmothers, heartbroken and enraged over the enormous loss of life and the terrible injuries in Iraq, plan to enlist in the military. The old make wars and the young die in them; on Valentine's Day, grandmothers and others will demonstrate their love for this country and its young people by enlisting in the U.S. military in place of young people. The grandmothers vehemently oppose this war; their enlistment is not a show of support for military action in Iraq. But if...

WASHINGTON, DC, Feb. 3, 2006—Last week's FReep was the third in our newly captured territory—all four corners of Walter Reed Army hospital's main gate—the DC Chapter having outsmarted Code Pink in mid-January, when after 40 weeks of counterprostests, the DC Chapters of FreeRepublic and Protest Warrior finally drove the Pinko womyn and associated quislings away from the gates. Our side, supporters of the troops and the mission outnumbered by three-to-one the pitiful remnants of Code Pink's newly-relocated "vigil" 'way down the block—they are out of our brave heroes' faces now! What's even better is that many more wounded troops and...

We have declared this Operation a SUCCESS!!!! The Revolutionary Communist Party, with it's front group WorldCantWait, showed up Saturday with their disgusting signs, their disgusting chants and their filthy appearence. Our group of intrepid PW's, Freepers, and the Leadership Institute's best and brightest, along with two brave wounded wariors from Walter Reed, and a contingent from George Washingtin University, assembled in Lafeyette Park at 1030 and set up our signs with messages of support for the current administration, the military, and the methods used by both to keep us safe from terrorists. Our favorite code pinko, Squeegee Boy showed up...

Armed with signs, flags, and spirit, we arrived at our corners across from Balboa Naval Hospital at 11:30 a.m., ready to counter Code Pink. They never showed up. Oh excuse me, we did have one guy who came to protest us. He shall forever more be known as "Mr. Lonely"! He started out by approaching us and saying,"I don't want to start an arguement but you know our troops are raping Iraqi women". When he couldn't sway us with his brilliance, he took his position on an opposite corner. The highlight of our day was a young Marine. He was driving...

Our anti-victory friends from CODEPINK are at it again. They're trying to pull a fast one on us, by scheduling a protest outside Balboa Naval Hospital on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. Unfortunately for them, they forgot to check the kickoff time. The game starts at 3pm, but this event will be over no later than 1:30pm. Plenty of time to get home and have a couple of beers before the big game. This event will be held in honor of our good friend Mikey, who is in the hospital recovering from brain surgery. His wife and daughter will be attending in...

<p>On Jan 27, we held all four corners of the main gate at Walter Reed for the second week in a row. Per last week's thread and report, the Pinkos have been relegated to an area about a block away such that the wounded and their relatives do NOT have to pass close by them to enter or leave Walter Reed Army Medical Center. We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond including numerous Protest Warriors and other patriots. Although the night was cool, it was still warmer than usual for a January night.</p>

WASHINGTON - Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq who reinvigorated the anti-war movement, was arrested and removed from the House gallery Tuesday night just before President Bush's State of the Union address, a police spokeswoman said. Sheehan, who had been invited to attend the speech by Rep. Lynn Woolsey (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., was charged with demonstrating in the Capitol building, a misdemeanor, said Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider. Sheehan was taken in handcuffs to police headquarters a few blocks away and her case was processed as Bush spoke. Schneider said Sheehan had worn a...

Cindy Sheehan Arrested Moments Before Bush State of the Union Speech C. L. Cook PEJ News January 31, 2006 Enduring the last hour of CNN's political "coverage" of George W. Bush's State of the Union, indistinguishable in style and substance, than the tedious preamble certain to precede next week's Super Bowl XL (Go Seahawks!), a momentary blimp in the pallid farce passing as analysis for the media corpse these sad days: "Cindy Sheehan has been arrested!" It took Wolf, Jeff, Paula, and that King guy only a heartbeat to frame the issue: "I think some Democrats are going to be...

SAN FRANCICSO (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a potential candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, was set to speak Saturday night at a fundraising event that was expected to draw crowds of anti-war protesters. The New York senator was scheduled for an on-stage interview with television personality Jane Pauley at the fundraiser for the Bar Association of San Francisco, which represents more than 8,000 lawyers, law students and other legal professionals in the Bay Area. The anti-war group Code Pink urged its members to protest Clinton's stance on the Iraq war outside San Francisco's Nob Hill Masonic Center, where...

Our good friends at The American Thinker and Israpundit have uncovered a fascinating limitation upon 501c3s like Cindy Sheehan's Gold Star Families For Peace and Medea Benjamin's Code Pink and Global Exchange. To wit, it is a violation of their tax exempt status for such "charities" to plan and engage in illegal activities. From the guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service: J. ACTIVITIES THAT ARE ILLEGAL OR CONTRARY TO PUBLIC POLICY1. IntroductionExempt purposes may generally be equated with the public good, and violations of law are the antithesis of the public good. Therefore, the conduct of such activities may be a...

Cindy Sheehan went to Caracas, Venezuela to put her thumb in the eye of the Bush administration. She was leading the World Social Forum, a far-left “alternative” to the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, to cavort with fellow leftists. Less well known was that her trip was sponsored by the Venezuelan foreign ministry. The price of that was obligatory praise of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, who’s rapidly plunging in the opinion polls for his incompetence and corruption. “I admire President Chavez for his strength to resist the United States,” she said. Sheehan, who knows nothing of Venezuela, was easy to...

Medea Benjamin's organizations Code Pink and Global Exchange have enjoyed a long and peculiar relationship with both Castro's Cuba and Hugo Chavez's Venezuela. The question is, how peculiar? And specifically, is she working as a foreign agent as defined by the United States Code? From the US Department of Justice, Foreign Agents Registration Act Q & A: United States Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) Q. What constitutes an agent? A. An agent of a Foreign principal is any individual or organization which acts at the order, request, or under the direction or control of a foreign principal, or whose activities are directed...

1/21/2006 ALLIANCE OF IRANIAN WOMEN PROTESTS CODE PINK ***** The Alliance of Iranian Women protests the actions of the Code Pink activists who have distorted the legitimate struggle of Iranian women, for their human rights, to suit their own political and ideological agenda. The top part of the picture is what the A.N.S.W.E.R coalition/Code pink activists, have photoshopped the top part of the photo (below), out of the original photo, shown in the bottom. First, they have mixed the picture of some western women to the original Iranian women’s picture. Then, not only they have made up slogans, in pink...

The afternoon started with the arrival a small but determined group from the Walter Reed victory on the Friday night. The group contained Apple Blossom, Lurker Bill, Concretebob, Doctor Raoul, Lurker Joan, gate2wire, Lurker George and his wife Ethel, and bmwcyle. We had a visit by a Vietnam Veteran, who stood on the grassy knoll above the peace-niks. He told them that signs similar to the ones their hands help to kill over 50,000 of his brothers in arms. Also a great mother of a young Marine solder over in Iraq stopped by to show her support. The cars driving...

Progressives Show Their Colors Publius Pundit has caught the “progressive†freaks at CODEPINK in an amazingly vile deception. They photoshopped a picture of an Iranian woman demonstrating for freedom into a banner advertising their anti-freedom cut-and-run campaign. I put the two images together:

I just received a phone call from Kristinn!! The DC Chapter of Protest Warriors obtained a permit for Code Pink’s side of the street today after the Pinko’s forgot to renew their permit. The blood dancers tried to stick it out for about 20-25 minutes before they tucked tail and retreated a block away to the closed entrance. Freepers and Protest Warriors now have all four corners outside the main entrance to WRAMC!

(CNSNews.com) - The anti-war group "Code Pink: Women for Peace" is thanking Pennsylvania Democratic Congressman John Murtha on its website for his "courageous stand on Iraq." The group -- which sparked controversy last summer with anti-war protests at a military hospital in the nation's capital -- recently presented Murtha its "pink badge of courage" for his anti-war activism. Code Pink's co-founder, Gael Murphy, and its coordinator for the Washington, D.C., area, Allison Yorra, met with Murtha earlier this month "to thank him for his courageous stand on Iraq. "We presented him with our pink badge of courage and pink flowers...
