An award-winning German journalist who was recently found to have fabricated parts of stories may be facing more trouble. Claas Relotius, 33, is facing new accusations that he solicited donations for orphans of the war in Syria, donations that he ultimately pocketed, reported CBS. As part of the scandal over the former CNN International's Journalist of the Year, residents of Fergus Falls, Minn., dispelled a variety of falsehoods in his piece “ In a small town” that took aim at "the people who pray for Trump on Sundays." Relotius is accused of making up quotes, interview subjects, and facts in...

Josh Feldman at Mediaite pointed out that star PBS filmmaker Ken Burns is out on cable television ranting the liberal line again. The program was Amanpour on CNN International after the debate on Thursday. Christiane Amanpour, his fellow Obama enthusiast, was interviewing him about his latest PBS documentary on saving Jews from the Nazis, which they both naturally thought offered Republican parallels. First, they freaked out about Trump refusing to concede defeat 20 days before the voting ends and before anyone knows who won: AMANPOUR: What do you make first and foremost of the major Republican candidate refusing to accept...

Perhaps this one of the most important discussion threads ever regarding Legacy Media manipulation. We sincerely hope you will take the time to digest the content, think about the ramifications to what is here, and then share the information with others. This is not a matter of opinion, the CNN stories are documented, attributed and cited. They are factual. Everything is verifiable within the embedded links and citations. Believe it or not, just creating this discussion thread is risky. We are unable to expand. Before getting to the CNN Amber Lyon expose’ (which is incredible and troubling) let’s first back...

Those Yanks living overseas or posted on assignment/traveling will more than likely have to put up with CNN International, which is unfathomably a couple of magnitudes worse than domestic CNN.

Just returned from an eighteen day vacation in Europe. The wife and I went to Germany in a little town near the Swiss and Austrias border, went to Switzerland and Austira, than on to Rome, Florence, and Venice. We had an enjoyable time but it is great to be back in the United States. We took a beating with the dollar-Euro exchange rate but that's life. While there, I noticed one thing about European television. Here, we seem to have an abundance of home shopping channels. There, nearly everything is soccer. We also had the misfortune of getting our news...

Excerpt - NEW YORK (AP) -- CNN will give away access to an online video service that now costs $25 a year, becoming the latest news organization to revamp its revenue model on the Web. Spokeswoman Jennifer Martin said the change, effective July 1, reflected lower costs associated with delivering bandwidth-intensive video. "People don't like to pay for stuff on the Internet," she said. "We're not going to deny it, but we also had to make sure from a cost perspective that we got to the stage where it made sense to offer it for free." ~ snip ~

In the course of a hostile interview on July 30 with Israeli spokesperson Miri Eisen, CNN International anchor Rosemary Church actually charged that Israel could shoot down the Hezbollah Katyusha rockets that have rained down on the country, but has chosen not to try: ROSEMARY CHURCH: But they’re crude rockets aren’t they, and after all their impact has been minimal compared to the impact of Israeli strikes on Lebanon. Explain something to us, why would you not try to be shooting these missiles, these Katyusha missiles, or rockets, we should say, they’re not missiles at all, they’re rockets. Why would...

I have to ask. Have any of you ever seen CNN International ?? Not long ago, I was traveling and saw CNN International and was absolutely shocked at the incredible anti-American stance on ever issue. It totally blew my mind. It is no wonder a lot of the world does not like us.

In a 1999 lecture at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University, former CNN Chief News Executive Eason Jordan told the audience that CNN International was directly inspired by Fidel Castro: I thank you very much for being here tonight. Let me also thank Fidel Castro. In the earliest days of CNN, when CNN was meant to be seen only in the United States, the enterprising Fidel Castro was pirating and watching CNN in Cuba. Fidel was intrigued by CNN. He wanted to meet the person responsible. So Ted Turner, who at that point had never traveled to a...

Layoffs rumoured at CNN InternationalBeleaguered global news service CNN International is rumoured to be considering major redundancies in a cost-cutting exercise. From our rumourmill correspondent F---edCompany.com's Super Happy Fun Slander Corner is reporting that AOL-Time-Warner is considering "mega-layoffs" at it's international channel, CNN International. CNN has come under domestic pressure from News Corporation's Fox News whilst internationally BBC World and Sky News continue to give the broadcaster a hard time.

We just got back from a seven day cruise. Everything was wonderful with the exception of two things. Pushy, rude New York old ladies (what is with that?) and CNN INT was the only news we had. I had never been subjected to CNN INT. but let me tell you, it makes no bones about being as anti-bush and anti-American as you can possibly get. We were at sea when the news about Sadaam being apphrended came on CNN. I had refused to watch it but heard passengers discussing it and relented and turned it on. I have questions -...

US news organisations “censored” their coverage of the US campaign in Afghanistan in order to be in step with public opinion in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks, a CNN senior executive has claimed. Coverage of the war in Afghanistan was shaped by the level of public support that existed for US action, Rena Golden, the executive vice-president and general manager of CNN International claimed. Speaking at Newsworld Asia, a conference for news executives in Singapore, Golden said: “Anyone who claims the US media didn’t censor itself is kidding you. It wasn’t a matter of government pressure but...
