Many wealthy people who have multiple mansions, yachts, private jets, and gas-guzzlers pretend to care about their carbon footprint as they lecture us that we should drive inefficient, impractical, expensive electric cars powered by batteries that are made from a flammable pollutant. Sometimes they buy fictional carbon credits to pretend they care. Their carbon footprint did not change on all their stuff. Ford and GM make huge profits selling gas-guzzlers and then pretend to care by buying a piece of paper showing carbon credits. Environmental teenage activist Greta Thunberg not only dispensed unsolicited policy advice to governments around the world in 2019 — she was a deciding factor in online dating. Dating app OkCupid noted an 800% increase in people referencing Thunberg in their profile descriptions and liking her, and apparently the environmental activism that she stands for is a major asset when looking for an online relationship, The Hill reported Monday.

The news is good from the Swedish "genius" who claims to know how to save the world. She has gone home and plans to take some time off from her self-imposed world tours and speeches in her role as our savior. I don't know about you, but I am sick to death of Greta Thunberg. If I ever hear or see her again, it will be too soon. This young girl has gotten all too much publicity, all too much adulation and all too much support for her "beliefs" about climate change – if, indeed, they really are her beliefs.

All three networks devoted reports Wednesday to hyping radical Swedish teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg being honored by Time Magazine today with their “Person of the Year” award.
