My 2nd TCM movie alert for today. TCM will be airing the Ronald Reagan comedy "The Girl From Jones Beach" at 11 AM E.S.T. on Friday, November 30, 2012. It's a fun, goofy comedy that's worlds away from Reagan's dealing with the Soviets and fixing Carter's economic disaster. The voluptuous Virginia Mayo makes a very lovely leading lady for him and was quite fond of Reagan off-screen as well. Roman Catholic, Anti-Communist Republican classic movie director Leo McCarey's "Once Upon A Honeymoon"(1942) with Republican movie superstars Ginger Rogers & Cary Grant. is airing on TCM on Monday morning. From its title, stars & director one might think it's a light romantic comedy like Grant's "The Awful Truth" and Miss Rogers' "It Had to Be You."
