STONEHAM, Mass —A store owner used chili powder to take down an armed robber who barged into a convenience store on Main Street in Stoneham late Saturday evening. Brett Osgood, 25, of Revere was arrested and charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation. According to the police, Osgood went into the convenience store late Saturday evening and purchased a $2 lottery scratch ticket.
