Excuse us while we adjust the fourth ... no wait ... fifth tinfoil hat we've had in just this year alone. We've learned to appreciate the tinfoil because it seems more often than not there is enough truth in what we're hearing (seeing, reading, etc) that we need to pay attention. We need to write about it, share it, get that info out there because we know the mainstream media will not. In fact, they'll work very hard to make those of us talking about it out to be CRAY-CRAY. It's what they do. And this from Tucker Carlson about...

The campus chief of police at Mount Holyoke College has been placed on leave after students confronted him about supporting President Trump. Students dug up tweets from Chief Daniel Hect which showed he thinks favorably of Trump, likes the National Rifle Association, and supports a Mexican border wall. Last month, members of the Mount Holyoke administration held a forum for students to engage with the newly hired chief of campus police. The Mount Holyoke News reports that students questioned Hect about his personal views amid “tension and tears.”

When Anne Kirkpatrick took the helm at the scandal-ridden Oakland Police Department, she inherited an agency that the city’s mayor likened to a frat house. The veteran police officer knew she inevitably would be asked what it’s like to combat the culture as one of a growing number of women heading police departments, many struggling to repair their public image. […] Female police officers tend to use wits over brawn to deescalate potentially violent situations, experts say, and as departments shift their focus to nonviolent techniques, it’s natural they would tap more women as leaders. …

POLICE CHIEF ALLOWS FALLINGDOWN DRUNK TO GET IN HIS CAR AND DRIVE. STATE ATTORNEY HOPES TO SETTLE THE CASE AGAINST OMAR WITHOUT A TRIAL Several weeks ago, we reported to you that 22-year-old Omar Antonio Garcia Barrera’s planned sleep-over at Police Chief Donie Lee’s home last May 28 did not turn out as may have been planned. Although Chief Lee says that he did not serve Omar any alcohol, Omar was reportedly falling-down drunk and had become “disorderly,” Lee said. After several warnings, Chief Lee said that, about 2:30 am, he personally escorted Omar out the door and to his...

Alexandria Police Chief David P. Baker is on administrative leave after a car crash in Arlington County late Saturday led to his arrest on charges of drunken driving. Baker, who was driving an unmarked city vehicle, had a blood alcohol level of 0.19, more than twice Virginia's legal limit, authorities said. City Manager James K. Deputy Police Chief Earl Cook, a 30-year veteran of the department, was named acting chief. "It is very disappointing when any of our...

Chief wants city in FBI force Portland's police chief urged the mayor last month to stay in the anti-terror effort; that may hinge on a City Council vote tonight Wednesday, March 30, 2005 ANNA GRIFFIN Portland Police Chief Derrick Foxworth wants his bosses on the City Council to stay in a controversial anti-terrorism task force. In a memo sent to Mayor Tom Potter last month and made public by the mayor's office Tuesday, Foxworth warned Potter that pulling out of the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force would make it extremely difficult for city police to prevent terrorism and respond to...

THE New Hampshire House is considering Senate Bill 454, which would eliminate the permit requirement to carry a loaded, hidden weapon. It still will allow permits to be issued for those wishing to carry hidden weapons in reciprocal states. Your local police chief would be issuing permits to citizens to carry a loaded, hidden gun in far-off states, but not in New Hampshire. Should this legislation become law, everyone with the exception of convicted felons will be allowed to carry a hidden, loaded firearm. Now, ask yourself — should habitual drug users, mental patients and the town drunkard carry a...

Organization claims lax federal policies causing murder of cops The National Association of Chiefs of Police claims national border security is a "sham" and the lack of controls by the federal government is rewarding criminals. In a statement, Jim Kouri, vice president of the 14,000-member organization, slams the feds for using "smoke and mirrors in our border security strategy." He also indicts states issuing driver's licenses to illegal aliens. "Even the president of the United States is prepared to reward lawbreakers," he said, referring to President Bush's proposal to legalize millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. Kouri, an Arab-American,...
