So far no arrests have been made and authorities are keeping mum about a raid on a property in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish country around Lancaster, but the local paper has some intriguing suggestions about what’s going on, and it sure looks like the BATFE is getting ready to accuse an Amish farmer of being an unlicensed gun retailer. The raid on the property known as the Cattail Foundry took place two weeks ago, with agents carting off an untold number of guns. This week, LancasterOnline.com spoke with Rueben King, who says the guns were all his private property, though...

Some time after I bought my first gun, I got a robocall from the National Rifle Association, asking me to join. After the customary “Please stay on the line. . .” from a pleasant but earnest voice, I recoiled from the barkings of an angry-sounding man: “Did I know that Barack Hussein Obama and European leaders are meeting on American soil right now, at this very moment, to plot the confiscation of my guns?” The caller continued with his insinuations of an imminent United Nations plot against America, but before I could be handed off to a live operator, I...

Tonight The Brenner Brief radio show will feature Cam Edwards of Cam and Company on nranews.com and SiriusXM Patriot Channel. The discussion will focus on gun rights and Second Amendment issues with regard to the Obama Administration. In addition, Sara will continue the discussion on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), its defeat in the Senate last week and the very likely possibility it will be brought up for another vote [...]

Michelle Malkin and Cam Edwards had an idea. They wanted to show their support for Abdul Rahman, the Afghani man now on trial in Afghanistan for being a convert to Christianity who is facing a possible death sentence if convicted. Kristinn, Cam and Michelle have been in contact with one another this morning, and we have a permit application filed with MPDC for this Friday. I have confirmed with MPDC that all is OK with our application. The event is officially a "GO." From the earlier announcement on Michelle's blog, here are the particulars: Friday March 24 Noon to 1pm...

William Burden’s just an unlucky guy. It was bad luck that he was caught by an armed citizen when he was trying to rob a home in Upper Deerfield, New Jersey. It was bad luck that police have been able to tie him to a string of other crimes in southern New Jersey in 2002 and 2003. And it’s just his bad luck that’s led to a sentence of 20 to 30 years for those crimes. Clearly, the crimes William Burden committed are not his fault. At least, that’s what William Burden believes. He recently told a court that the...

Mike Wallace says President Bush is afraid to be interviewed by him. The 87-year old reporter for “60 Minutes” made the comment on MSNBC’s “Hardball” earlier this week, in an exchange with host Chris Matthews. MATTHEWS: So why is the man in the oval office afraid of the man on “60 Minutes”? Mike, why is George W. the man in the White House afraid to interview you. WALLACE: Because he pays attention strictly to Karl Rove and that’s why from the very beginning that Karl Rove will not permit him to sit down with me. After seeing this, I can’t...

Wisconsin is, by all accounts, a fairly modern state. They have interstate highways, running water, electricity, and the internet. But Wisconsin doesn’t have something that forty-six other states do: concealed carry. Legislators in the Badger State are working to correct that. For the past few years, bills authorizing residents to carry concealed firearms for personal protection have come up in the Assembly. In fact, last session, the bill passed out of the legislature and ended up on the governor’s desk. But Governor Jim Doyle vetoed the bill, and the override attempt in the legislature ended up one vote short. The...

Louis Farrakhan's increasingly incoherent ramblings, making news this weekend, reminded the Radio Equalizer of another so-called civil rights leader, Al Sharpton. What happened to his planned liberal talk radio show? After revealing his intentions to the media in May, we've heard almost nothing since. At the time, Rush Limbaugh thought Sharpton's prospects were fairly decent, but the whole issue now seems to be forgotten. According to reports at the time, "The Al Sharpton Show" should have been on the air by now.

--- Air America hosts are still pretending on-air as though nothing is happening, continuing attacks against the Bush "crime family". Apparently they believe the mainstream media will continue helping AAR avoid negative publicity. If the New York Times finally covers this, they're finished. Maybe that's what worries Times staffers most, they don't want to kill off allies. --- Common email question: where's Drudge?
