A man is accused of shooting and killing two hospital employees on Saturday. The Dallas Police Department identified the suspect as Nestor Hernandez, 30. He is on parole for aggravated robbery and had an ankle monitor, they said. Hernandez is now accused of capital murder. After getting shooting reports, Dallas police found the victims shot near the labor and delivery area of Methodist Hospital in the 1400 block of North Buckley Avenue, according to sources for WFAA.

At least 15 children under the age of four were directed to the NHS's transgender health service in England in the past two years. A similar number of five-year-olds were referred between 2021-2022 to the highly-controversial Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) at the Tavistock clinic, the country's only gender identity service for children. NHS documents state that, in total, over 5,000 children were referred to Tavistock's service in the past two years, over concerns they were suffering from their gender identity not matching their biological sex.

Two police officers were shot and killed and a third was injured after a gunman allegedly ambushed them at a Bristol, Connecticut, home, according to sources. The Bristol police officers were shot while responding to a 911 call reporting a possible domestic violence incident between two siblings Wednesday night, according to Connecticut State Police. According to a report, 1,100 otherwise healthy athletes have died of “sudden death” since 1966. But 3/4 of them, or 673, died in the last year. Gee, do you wonder what that it? According to a comprehensive list of fallen athletes, since Jan. of 2021, 673 athletes have suddenly died despite having no known illnesses or conditions. But only 428 such deaths occurred between 1966 and 2021. That means we have had nearly twice as many sudden deaths in just one year compared to 40 years previously.

A Washington school board approved a policy on Aug. 24 prohibiting the teaching of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in classrooms. The Kennewick School Board in Kennewick, Washington, voted 5-0 on a policy which bans educators from teaching students CRT or that “their race determines their value or worth.” The policy requires that students learn “factual” U.S. history in all disciplines at school.

Canada’s federal government has ordered a ‘full and thorough’ investigation after a Veterans Affairs Canada employee encouraged a veteran to undergo assisted suicide when he called for help. The Canadian Forces veteran was seeking treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and a traumatic brain injury when he was casually offered medical assistance in dying (MAiD) in July. A VAC employee reportedly brought up MAiD unprompted in the conversation with the veteran, who was ‘deeply disturbed’ by the suggestion.

Reports are coming in of an apparent break-in attempt at the FBI’s field office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The FBI’s Cincinnati office issued a statement on Twitter saying that at around 9:00 A.M. ET, “an armed subject attempted to breach” the office’s screening facility. “After an alarm and a response by FBI special agents, the subject fled north onto Interstate 71,” the rest of the statement reads. The suspect has not been named. Statements from the FBI field office and the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency describe an unfolding standoff in a rural area 50 miles northeast of Cincinnati.
