The Republican Party flipped seats in Arizona and Iowa and won an open district in Michigan.

Eli Crane Wins AZ-02 - Republican Eli Crane ousted Democrat incumbent Rep. Tom O’Halleran in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District.

Officials considered O’Halleran “the most endangered incumbent in the House Democratic caucus.”

Crane, a former Navy SEAL, received President Donald Trump’s endorsement. He concentrated on the economy, border security, and no Critical Race Theory.

O’Halleran represents the First District but chose to run for the newly redrawn Second District even though it favors Republicans.

Imagine calling gaining control of the House a Disaster!

Yes, I know we could have done better. We can always do better. But this was pretty major, y’all.

Iowa had its own red wave. Even got rid of the Dem AG who had been entrenched for 40 years. Iowa is as RED as it gets!

It amazes me how entitled to win it all people became after being gaslighted into thinking about red wave. When you consider all the things our side is up against regarding voting and ballots, we have done pretty good. All anyone is focusing on is that rigged race in PA and the other one in MI. Witchmer spent 65 mil on that race, Dixon 6 mil.

DemRATs should celebrate the day, because tomorrow the sun rises again on another day with biden, a Strategic Petroleum reserve mearing empty and another winter on the horizon. In recent trips to the super market I've not seen shelves as empty as they are now since the worse days of Covid. Produce is really sparse or nonexistent. Might be some frugal holiday celebration.

Yep. Democrat eastern Iowa, the power source for statewide Dem winners, seems broken.

Brenna Bird, 46, defeated the incumbent AG, age 78, first elected Iowa AG in 1978, with a 4 year break when he ran a failed campaign for governor.

Actually it was a double-bagger in Michigan using a baseball metaphor, first the GOP state legislature carved out RINO Fred Upton’s seat in re-districting, the RINO puke then quit rather than run in a primary in a newly drawn district.

Then John James won a seat in the newly drawn district. So on a federal level we did OK, on the state level it was a clean sweep for the rats.

I was born in Iowa City in the ‘50s, 65 years later I still fear the Catholic nuns that taught public school (the same ones and same dress as Catechism) but we sure did learn! We knew more by third grade than many seniors do in high school these days..

The nuns NEVER let a kid fail, my how times have changed.
