President Trump:

The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board: “Alvin Bragg Hasn’t Proved His Case in the Trump Trial: The evidence shows why the charges should never have been brought…After 20 days in Court, and a trial transcript of 4000 pages, THE MISSING PIECE IS STILL MISSING.”

President Trump:

Jonathan Turley: “A classic closing pitch by lawyers is to use a physical object like a three-legged stool. If any leg is missing, the stool collapses. Even a cursory review of the evidence shows this case does not have a leg to stand on…The case against Trump should end in ‘NOT GUILTY.’”

I am praying for President Trump. I am praying that the folks on the jury have their eyes open to what this trial has really been about and they find our man, not guilty. Because he is!

President Trump:

Gregg Jarrett: “Every defendant has the fundamental right ‘to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation’ against him. But Bragg never abided by that constitutional guarantee. Even worse, Merchan let him get away with it — the same way he allowed his local court to be misused to enforce a federal law over which he has no authority or jurisdiction.”

I hope the defense calls out the judge and prosecution for not even telling anybody what the crime was supposed to be. AND, that if you don’t have a clear understandable crime you can’t convict.

President Trump:

Mark Levin: “The Bragg case is about lawfare run amok against a former president running again for president…It also represents the greatest effort to interfere with and steal a federal election in American political history…Never before has a president sought to imprison his political opponent — in Trump’s case, a former president running for president again and who holds leads in the most crucial battleground states. Donald Trump is, in fact, the most persecuted man in America — legally and politically…Here’s just some of it: unconstitutional impeachments, relentless Democrat Party-media attacks, attempts to bankrupt him and destroy his businesses with a preposterous statute, the criminalization of the law by Democrat prosecutors in four cases brought in four different jurisdictions and totaling 91 cooked up charges, the use of a criminal warrant and an FBI SWAT team ….to search his home, the denial of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th amendment rights denying him free speech, due process, equal protection, attorney-client privilege, competent representation, imposing hugely excessive fines and denying him a jury trial, judges cutting corners and rushing cases before the election, judges with obvious conflicts of interest overseeing cases and the effective suspension of judicial rules of professional conduct, the leaking of his tax returns, multiple efforts to remove him from state presidential ballots…denying him executive privilege protection, the use of grand juries in overwhelmingly hostile cities, bar and criminal attacks on his lawyers, etc…By terrorizing Trump they hope to terrorize you. This is typical of an autocracy.”

I am really confused with the left media’s explanation of the crime committed. I understand the burglary concept they use, if you enter a business with the intent to shoplift, you commit the crime of burglary, even if you don’t shoplift. But in this case, Trump did complete the act, which was determined to not be a crime. So are they saying Trump tried to commit a crime even though the crime didn’t exist?

Bingo! And to read off to them, one by one, as Trump routinely does during his pressers, what newspaper headlines are saying about this TOTALLY GARBAGE CASE! Even CNN thinks it’s BS.

And if the crook wearing a blank robe in the judge’s chair doesn’t like it, HE CAN GO POUND SAND.

I do not believe Trump will be convicted. I believe we will have a hung jury.

The Jury has read too much about the law , the legality of non disclosure agreements,Stormy Daniels the whore , and Cohen to really be unhinged by Judge Juan.Plus there are two lawyers on the jury.

Let the games begin

Even the prosecution hasn’t been able to identify exactly what crime was committed, since the alleged business records “falsification” charges involve only expired misdemeanors. To try to get around that, the prosecution claims the misdemeanors were committed in furtherance of another crime. What that other crime is, they haven’t said. The whole case is complete Crap.

I wonder if the two lawyers on the jury have a moral or legal (or both) obligation to maintain professional legal conduct on their part, even though they are acting as jurors here?

I couldn’t agree with you more. And it only takes one juror. But I think we’re beyond one. Maybe up to five will hang this bogus case.

As lawyers, they’re officers of the court, so that’s one thing to consider.

Yesterday I finally hear a guy who is young and black say. Trump is us. We know what he is going through because it happens to us all the time. Trump is the first black president.

I think they don’t cease being officers of the court, even in roles outside their usual jurisprudence/careers, so there is that.

THe two lawyers have a duty to see that justice is done. They took an oath when they were admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the Saate of New York:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the constitution of the United States, and the
constitution of the State of New York, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of
[attorney and counselor-at-law], according to the best of my ability”

https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.inbar.org/resource/resmgr/litigation/Oaths.pdf

They both know that this is a witch hunt case. The question is whether they have the balls to influence the jury, or hold out for a hung jury.Or they both coujld be Dem plants.
