I took some teenage relatives to see this, thinking it would be fun to mock, it being so bad. Well, it was not only bad, it was BORING, and wasn’t even fun to make fun of. At least the popcorn was good.
It completely cleared me up, and what came back was no comparison to what I had had. But, it made my spine hurt, I had to stop for a month because I couldn’t carry my backpack across campus.

As an artist, she should know that once you put it out there, you have no control over its reception. That’s why we cringe at “instant classics.” The artist expresses, the audience reacts. The IDEA of an artist expecting a certain reaction and not others is anathema to art. That’s more like propaganda.
That’s interesting - they’re scared, but not scared enough to just up and leave. They’re going to take the time to sell. Can’t sell a home or a business overnight.
Where do people get the idea they can come and stay? Outside the law?
Why not work for a better life/government/system where they were?
Did their kids speak English? Unless their lives were threatened, in coming here the best way I can think to “have a better life” is learn English.
I honestly thought it was all about abortion. The ads said it. The gay guy who came to my door talked about it. He also led with talking about Musk who was an outsider billionaire who sired 13 kids. I was like, huh, you have a problem with his sex life, huh? Just what do you stand for?

I thought the same thing. Maybe he’s testing people about the real boundaries of the executive. Seems we all agree there’s been too much power (or too much of the wrong power) taken up by the executive branch.
