A Wisconsin county's Republican Party chapter came under fire after its chairman posted a meme saying having a job, a good credit rating, and being able to read were all signs of white supremacy. Ed Hudak shared the post on his personal Facebook page June 22, then shared it on the Winnebago Co. Republican Party's page on June 23. It showed a photo of a white man in a t-shirt with the caption: 'Know the warning signs of white supremacy'. '1. Full time employment, 2. Literacy, 3. Professional or technical degree, 4. Regular church/temple attendance, 5. Auto insurance, 6. Good credit rating, 7. No criminal record.
Hudak tried to claim the post was a commentary on critical race theory, whose teaching in schools is currently prompting widespread discussion across the US. But his statuses prompted outrage from both liberals and conservatives. 'When you see a county Republican party posting something just so explosive with outright racism you have to ask why is this up there', Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler told WISN 12 News.

Nico Blueford wrote in a comment, 'This is very inappropriate. Do other minorities not have any of these things?' and Dale McNamee wrote, 'It's racist as hell.'
Critical Race Theory teaches that racism against minorities is embedded in every aspect of life. It's been used in academics for decades, but has recently drawn the ire of conservative politicians who say it's being used to indoctrinate children and paint white people as inherently oppressive.
I’ve watched a very, good series on CRT, and it’s truly tragic it’s made its way into our schools. Not only is it designed to cause division, 99% of it is purely false claims, or twisted history.
I went for a walk/hike in a nature area over the past weekend, even though I recently read that socially distant activities like that have racist connotations.
These people deserve nothing but contempt and ridicule.
I no longer recognize the concept of “that’s racist”. As far as I’m concerned, anything goes now.
Trail mix is certainly racist ... ask Dave Chappelle.
LOL. Good for you. The bravery! Anyhoo, a young man at my church wore a fantastic tshirt a few weeks back. It read:
Social(ism) Distancing.
Loved it :)
Well, as conservatives, and worse yet...Christians!...isn’t it amazing how attacks against us are just fine? That’s not a problem for these folks now, is it?!
I’m reminded of a story a high school English teacher I had back in the mid 1980s told us that involved another teacher he knew of about ten years earlier.
Apparently, this teacher tried to start a class by getting the students to simmer down and stop chatting away. When that did not work after repeatedly asking, the teacher apparently became very angry and agitated and climbed up on to their desk and started hopping up and down and yelling. The students began laughing and still paid no heed to quiet down. The teacher then walked out and slammed the door and their days as a teacher were basically over right then and there. Wonder if we should simply give the left the same sort of treatment?
I think Rush said it best. Telling the truth in this country will get you in trouble nowadays.
Sounds like the Smithsonian Institute’s display on whiteness.
that was my take
We are the Jews in 1930ies Germany. Much worse is yet to come. Wake up or report to the camps.
sometimes the truth hurts.

Trees have been deemed racist, so for sure, a hike in the woods is racist.
I don’t see a problem with it - as long as he doesn’t apologize for it or grovel.
The deliberately missed point of the meme was NOT that minorities don’t have these (jobs, literacy, etc), but rather how little it takes for a CRT leftist to label anyone white as a white supremacist.
I am 57 years old. Female and white. Graduated high school 1981 at 16. Tried to get a job at the airport, but I didn’t speak another language than English, so no go :(
In my mid-20’s I applied for a police dispatcher job. Was told by an officer not to bother. Due to affirmative action they “had to” hire someone of color.
In 2000 I finally went back to finish college in my 30s. Applied for a grant, but no go. Was asked point blank by the financial aid lady if I had any Spanish, or other ‘ethnicity’ in my background. Asked her what she meant, and the answer was...if you can show you’re 17th another race but white, you would qualify.
I could state more instances, but someone help my simple mind. Where was my white privilege?
“Hudak tried to claim the post was a commentary...”
What’s the difference between “claiming” and “trying to claim”? I guess this very honest and objective reporter is saying that we’re supposed to disbelieve Hudak when he explains his intended meaning. Why, exactly?
