IINM, it is the rule that where a justice misses oral argument in a particular case s/he has no part/role in the Court’s decision in that case.

I had wanted to raise earlier that the first two Jewish Senators were both from the Deep South: David Yulee (Florida), and, of course, Benjamin (LA).

First, it can take years to get an asylum interview, and the majority of asylum applications are denied. One of the issues that affects the approval or denial is whether the applicant has called for violence against any particular group....

As a lifelong devotee of the Three Stooges, and having been compared to Curly for most of my life, I find the juxtaposition of an LA TimesContract Reporter with any of the Great Threesome to be offensive.
