A prominent New Hampshire Republican is getting off the Straight Talk Express and hopping on the Obama bandwagon. Fred Bramante has stepped down from John McCain’s New Hampshire Leadership Committee to endorse Barack Obama. The former chairman and current member of the state Board of Education said he opposes McCain’s support of school vouchers, which would give parents taxpayer money to offset the cost of private schooling. Bramante said politicians must abandon the voucher idea if they want to improve education.
