Hollywood comedian Leslie Jones says she hopes young people rioting across the U.S. can parlay their anger into something that will “burn down this f—ing Constitution.” The “Ghostbusters” reboot star told her 1 million Twitter followers over the weekend that history is repeating itself regarding riots in response to George Floyd’s death under the knee of former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin. Ms. Jones recounted her days causing destruction during the 1992 Los Angeles riots before saying, “Seriously, 30 years from now, the same riot that I was in with my sledgehammer is the same riot that y’all in.”

Studios are learning this summer that audiences have no time for their tired franchises.
