Christopher Hohn, a British billionaire and hedge fund manager, is cutting off funding to left-wing groups and causes after a report by Americans for Public Trust (APT). APT said in its report that the groups that received funding from the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), which lists Hohn as its founder and chair of board, "pushed for nothing less than the complete radicalization of the U.S. political landscape." Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old Uber driver in connection to the investigation into the deadly January Palisades Fire. Jonathan Rinderknecht, of Melbourne, Florida, was arrested Tuesday near his home on suspicion of destruction of property by means of fire. U.S. Border Patrol agents shot a woman in Chicago Saturday after an angry mob apparently tried to attack the law enforcement officers. The gunfire erupted after a group of agents were “rammed in by 10 cars” and “boxed in” while patrolling the city’s South Side, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told the Chicago Sun-Times.
