Joe Biden emerged from hiding on Sunday night to deliver a Trump-bashing speech that once again illustrates just how tone-deaf he and his handlers are with reality.
As ABC News reported, 82-year-old Biden was speaking publicly for the first time since completing a round of radiation therapy for an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
The former White House occupier was present to receive a lifetime achievement award for inspired leadership from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute in Boston.
Biden soon turned his speech into a Trump-bashing session, implying the president was a dictator.
“Since its founding, America served as a beacon for the most powerful idea ever in government in the history of the world,” Biden began. “The idea is stronger than any army. We’re more powerful than a dictator.”
He then bemoaned that America was facing “dark days,” utilizing projection to distract from the fact that he and his cronies drove the country into the ground.
“Friends, I can’t sugarcoat any of this. These are dark days,” Biden later added, before stating America will “emerge as we always have — stronger, wiser and more resilient, more just, so long as we keep the faith.”
A rage-filled Biden then closed his speech with a call to action, complete with fist-shaking and sudden yelling.
“In over 50 years of public life, this is the worst I’ve seen it, Biden said. “It’s time to get re-engaged…To fight like hell!”
“This is no time to give up. It’s time to get up,” he continued. “Get up now!”

As TGP readers know, Joe Biden has been undergoing radiation therapy to treat his prostate cancer.
Biden’s personal office announced back in May that the former White House occupant had been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer, which has spread to his bones.
Biden’s condition is characterized by a “Gleason score of 9.” As ABC News notes, a score of 9 means that the cancer cells look quite different from normal prostate cells and are likely to grow and spread rapidly.
This news came just two weeks after Biden secretly spent time at a hospital in Philly a couple of Fridays ago after doctors discovered a “small nodule” on his prostate. This suggests that Biden and his family knew he had cancer a long time ago, but hid the whole truth from the public anyway.
So who decided having him speak was a good idea?
