The City purchased the $20,000 system to assist the sheriff's department in "identifying suspects involved in illegal activities." The cameras are mobile and can be moved to various locations. Information is sent automatically to the sheriff's department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system is expected to be deployed immediately.
