Minnesota Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian said he tried calling state lawmaker John Kriesel today to say he was sorry for his part in their Twitter exchange Sunday, but didn't want to apologize in a message and will wait until the two talk. Kriesel, R-Cottage Grove, has acknowledged that Berrian tried to call him, and Kriesel tried to call him back, but the two hadn't been able to talk yet.
