The February 24, 2005, Visit Narrative by Attorney Barbara Weller I have visited Terri Schindler Schiavo several times since I first met her on the day before Christmas in 2004. Today was an especially poignant visit so I decided to again share it with all those who have been so concerned for her. Attorney David Gibbs III and I visited Terri to update her on the good things that were happening in the legal case. We believe that she comprehends at some level what is going on and that she may well have been aware of the fear and anguish...

A mentally disabled woman whose court ordered starvation-execution began Friday attempted to contradict her estranged husband's claim that she wants to die hours before her feeding tube was disconnected, an eyewitness is claiming. Barbara Weller, an attorney for Terri Schiavo's parents, told reporters Friday afternoon that during her visit earlier in the day she told Ms. Schiavo: "Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over." According to pro-life activist Randall Terry, who recounted the scene to radio host Sean Hannity, Schiavo tried desperately to repeat Weller's words. "'I waaaaannt . ....

Rush just read a statement from a lawyer who was in the room with Terry Schiavo at the time the feeding tube was removed. It was a very moving story. I do not have a link to the story and can not find it on the net. But if this lawyer is telling the truth, and I have no reason not to believe her, it would be big evidence in this case. If someone can provide a link, please help!

An attorney for Terri Schiavo said the severely brain-injured woman cried and yelled out that she wants to live after being told today her life-sustaining feeding tube was about to be removed by court order. Barbara Weller was in Terri Schiavo's room at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park, Fla., when the encounter took place, according to activist Randall Terry, who spoke with WorldNetDaily from outside the building as demonstrators continued a vigil. If true, the report apparently refutes the court's finding that Terri Schiavo is in a "persistant vegetative state" and cannot currently express her wishes. Her husband, Michael...

CLEARWATER (FBW)-Mary said it has been a mother’s intuition this week that has kept her off the rollercoaster of emotions surrounding her disabled daughter’s case. “I knew Judge Greer was going to turn the motions down,” Mary Schindler told Florida Baptist Witness March 11. “He’s never done anything to help us before.” Schindler and her husband, Bob, are the parents of Terri Schiavo, the 41-year-old brain damaged woman and the center of a debate over what some say is the most definitive case yet for legalized euthanasia in the United States. Terri’s husband and legal guardian, Michael Schiavo, nearly a...
