... There has never been as vulgar and strutting a candidate in this nation’s postwar history as Donald Trump. I like his epater la bourgeoisie attitude about the media and political correctness, but he’s way too coarse and way too much of a bully for little me. I am used to milquetoasts like Bush 41 who talked like choirboys but actually flew combat missions against the Japanese Zero and had real courage, not that pitiful fake swagger that Trump carries around himself like a lycra animal skin. I am 71 now and I hope I never have to see a...

The GOP frontrunner talks about his love for vets—but his foundation gave far more to the Clintons over the years than any group that helps military veterans. Donald Trump decided to ditch Thursday night’s debate to raise money for veterans instead. The only problem is the money is going directly to The Donald J. Trump Foundation—an organization that has given more to the Clintons than to the troops. Trump’s campaign launched donaldtrumpforvets.com today in advance of his showy counter event in Iowa during the Republican debate. The site, featuring the image of a Ukrainian actor posing as a soldier, promises...

While appearing on CNN's "State of the Union," GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson seemed to swallow Planned Parenthood talking points and claimed that "hateful rhetoric" played a role in the Colorado Springs shooting. Odd, Carson is sounding just like the folks at Planned Parenthood trying to foment hate and violence against those who oppose abortion:

Come on. The guy is as dumb as a bag of rocks. How does he get away with it? Because our society craves his narrative. To the consternation of the GOP, Ben Carson still remains a significant player in the Republican presidential field. Carson appears to have no interest in what his challengers say or do, and he could not care less about how they speak of him. Remaining above the fray has been a tactic that Carson has used superbly throughout his campaign. But the most alarming aspect of his campaign thus far is the apparent disregard he has...

The Paris attack shows us what Islamic wild animals intend to do to us. So when will Ben Carson fire Armstrong Williams his de facto campaign manager and big Nation of Islam fan? Carson makes his biggest blunders speaking off the cuff. Without his chief handler and puppet master it is very difficult for him to explain some of his most puzzling positions. He is not a politician and it shows almost every time he speaks. “But this is a year that we don’t want politicians,†you say. This primary season has shown us that a strong resume can get...

I'm not sure this shows that he want to "microchip everybody," but it IS disturbing that he'd even be headed in the microchiping direction.

He continued, “Darwin said his whole theory depended on the fossil remains. He said we should be able to line up from a single-cell organism to man, several miles long and just walk right down the fossil trail and see how everything evolved.†“He [Darwin] said the only reason they didn’t have the fossils was because they were not geologically sophisticated enough, but that we would be in 50 to 100 years,†said Dr. Carson. Well, that was 150 years ago. We still haven’t found them. Where are they? Where are the fossil remains?†Carson continued, “When you ask the...

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson struggled Sunday to attach specifics to his plan to defeat the Islamic State militant group, vividly illustrating the former neurosurgeon's difficulty discussing foreign-policy matters. Speaking on "Fox News Sunday," Carson could not name a specific country or leader he would call to assemble an international coalition to counter the Islamic State, despite being asked three times by host Chris Wallace. "My point being that if we get out there and we really lead and it appears that we're making progress, that all of the Arab states and even the non-Arab states who are, I think,...

Before my fellow conservatives jump immediately to defend Candidate Carson, I would ask that they read the following short column. Some years ago, I became aware of the extraordinary and remarkable career of Dr. Benjamin Carson via the 2009 movie "Gifted Hands" ,a film in which Cuba Gooding, Jr. portrayed the doctor. I even talked about him to my friend and colleague Laurie Roth who, subsequently, interviewed him on her Radio show. Dr. Carson seemed to be an honorable man, conservative and true to his word. However, since he officially began his campaign for the position of POTUS, something appears...

Leading Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson believes that federal and state official overreacted in the case of Terri Schiavo, a Florida woman who died in 2005 as her husband and family battled over whether to keep her alive despite her vegetative state. The case roiled the state of Florida and sparked an emotional national debate about the ethics, politics and spiritual significance of her life and death.(snip)After speaking at a Republican Party conference here on Friday, a reporter asked Carson what he thought of the infamous case -- one that Bush speaks about occasionally as he mounts his own presidential campaign."We...

hite House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was literally at a loss for words on Friday when asked to comment on reports that Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson would release information proving that China is involved in fighting in Syria. After White House officials, including National Security Advisor Susan Rice, said Carson's claim was untrue, the GOP presidential candidate said that he had better information than the White House did. He also said that he would make his evidence public this weekend, and that the White House would have a chance to review it then. Earnest paused for a few seconds...

Dr. Ben Carson...told a prominent group of Latino elected officials that he also supports giving illegal immigrants a path to legalization and eventual citizenship. Addressing the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) in Nevada... He added that, "as a compassionate nation, we should be asking what can we do to help the people in nations who feel that they don't have an opportunity." He cited Cameroon as an example where American companies are helping to develop land to produce produce, which benefits those in Cameroon who need jobs in addition to the American companies. Regarding the country's...

More Ben Carson news today! You remember Doc Carson's story about the psychology test hoax that proved he was the most honest man at Yale? Well, Carson says it really happened, and the proof is on the right. It's a piece from the Yale Daily News about a parody issue of the News published by the Yale Record. Apparently the parody issue announced that some psychology exams had been destroyed and a retest would be held in the evening. Hilarious! This makes the whole story even more fascinating. It's clear that Carson's account is substantially different from the parody. He...

Just when I was starting to like Ben Carson after he destroyed the media yesterday, he comes back with Marco Rubio to support ObamaTrade or TPP. To give you a little perspective about the so called Republicans who also support ObamaTrade, the others including Jeb Bush, nutty John Kasich and Chris Christie. Sorry Dr. Carson. You are terribily wrong on this one.

Ben Carson sarcastically thanked the mainstream media and several negative stories for a fundraising surge that brought in $3.5 million for the former neurosurgeon this week. Moreover, many of those donations are small from a huge spectrum of donors who can give over and over again, unlike many of the "bundlers" who tap millionaires and billionaires for other other candidates. That is already making Carson's mailing list the stuff of legend among political professionals and rival campaigns.

Although he admits to being a fan of the 2016 Republican presidential candidate, The Blaze founder and radio host Glenn Beck worries that retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will end up being the GOP’s “Jimmy Carter†in 2016. Beck told listeners of Tuesday’s show: “I really like Ben Carson, and I see why people are attracted to him. But is it possible that we’re making the same mistake that the Democrats made with Jimmy Carter?â€

On Friday, a new media report scrutinized two more stories from the neurosurgeon-turned-politician. Last month, Carson detailed how he protected his white high school classmates the day after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1968 assassination. Violent race riots ravaged Detroit’s Southwestern High, which enrolled more black students than white students. Carson, a junior lab assistant with a key to the school’s biology workroom, shepherded his frightened friends to the lab to shield them from the violence, he told the Wall Street Journal. he newspaper spoke with a half dozen of Carson’s classmates and his high school physics teacher: Not one...
