Although he admits to being a fan of the 2016 Republican presidential candidate, The Blaze founder and radio host Glenn Beck worries that retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson will end up being the GOP’s “Jimmy Carter†in 2016.
Beck told listeners of Tuesday’s show:
“I really like Ben Carson, and I see why people are attracted to him. But is it possible that we’re making the same mistake that the Democrats made with Jimmy Carter?â€

The dems did not make a mistake. they wanted to destroy America and Carter helped fulfill that goal until Reagan stopped him.
Likewise, leftist republicans want a man that is anti gun, sides with Sharpton and backs amnesty to destroy America.
Unless someone want to argue that those things are good for america, why are supposed conservatives supporting him?

So Glen is comparing Carson to Carter? I don’t think so at all. Glen, IMHO has jumped the shark long ago. However, I don’t think Carson is what we need for a President.
Anybody who listens to Beck these days is making a HUGE mistake not mention wasting batteries, electricity to listen on the radio.
Hard to argue with that logic. Maybe some of our other contestants would broach the subject with the good doctor during one of our survivor tribal councils the Hillary Channels will air. Let the man speak for himself and either risk his/her torch being extinguished or the other person made to check themself. I haven’t decided quite yet. Ted disappointed me with the Corker debacle. ( He is still amazing though, lol.) As such I’m listening to all the candidates and learning. I love the process. Would hate to have a coronation like the other authoritarian party appears to be racing to.
Better he be under scrutiny now than after the nomination.
Imagine him as the nominee and getting hit will all of this 2 weeks before the election.
If he cannot withstand it now, he certainly would not next November.

I listen to Beck's show every day and really enjoy it. I heard this interview. This was one line out of a lengthy interview. Web sites looking for hits take one line out of an interview and put it in a headline without context. It gets them hits.
Look at this map:
The Democrats had just lost a landslide election in 1972. Humphrey was a has-been loser; Moonbeam, Udall and Church were too far to the left [and Brown and Church started their campaigns WAY too late]; Wallace, Sheets, and Scoop were too far to the right. Yes, Carter was an "outsider" but anyone who was a Democrat in those days will tell you they nominated Carter because they were still stinging from McGovern.
