More than 125 people who were caught up in the deadly Astroworld music festival crush have sued rapper Travis Scott and other organisers for $750m (£556m). The family of Axel Acosta, 21, one of the 10 victims, are among those bringing the legal case in the US. It claims Scott and guest star Drake kept performing despite accounts of "lifeless bodies being passed through the crowd in full view of the stage". Scott has said he was not aware of the tragedy until coming off stage. Last week, the rapper said he was "distraught" by the events in Houston, Texas,...

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has shared an unfounded conspiracy theory that the deaths at a Travis Scott concert earlier in the month were part of a satanic ritual. The rapper November 5 set at his Astroworld event left nine people dead and several more fighting for their lives. Since then, dozens of lawsuits have been filed and a slew of questions remain unanswered about what went wrong. On Friday (November 12), Ace took to his Facebook to share a photo of what appears to be his right foot covered in a sock emblazoned with the words "Not Today Satan",...

Exorcists from the Catholic Church and demonology experts broke down for the Daily Caller the possible demonic activity at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival that left eight dead and hundreds injured. In the aftermath of last Friday’s tragic Astroworld Festival, social media users on Twitter and Tik Tok shared videos and theories, speculating that the “concert from hell” resulted from demonic activity. Social media users stressed the eeriness of the Astroworld promotional poster, which showed people walking through a portal and encouraged festival attendees to “open your eyes to a whole new universe.” One of Travis Scott’s signature taglines, “See You...

The marketing materials for the 2021 Astroworld Music Festival in Houston, Texas invites you to ‘open your eyes to a whole new universe’, with images of people falling headlong into a fiery, red hole until the watchful gaze of the All-Seeing Eye so loved by the Illuminati. Yesterday, 8 souls experienced first hand what it’s like to fall into that fiery, red hole, with hundreds more injured. We warned you about satanist Travis Scott and Astroworld back in 2019, the one where Marilyn Manson sang ‘Antichrist Superstar’ live on stage. Nothing’s changed. “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are...

Ireland Baldwin responded to the mass casualty incident that occurred at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival in Houston on Friday. In three posts that the 26-year-old model shared to her Instagram Story on Saturday, Baldwin said that the tragedy was 'not Travis Scott's fault' but added, 'he incites the rage.' The Grudge Match star later deleted the posts, explaining, 'people on the internet are so scary and so misinformed.' Eight people, including a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, died after a deadly crowd surge at the festival, which also left many others injured. In Baldwin's first post, she wrote: 'Y'all are really...

Amper, one of the crowd members, said she saw a "girl lying on the floor near me, and we had random people doing CPR on this girl." More than 20 minutes passed, she said, before "actual medical assistants came." Houston police and event security staff stopped the concert "as soon as the situation got to the point where it was overwhelming the resources there," but by then "the damage had been done," Peña, the fire chief, said.

The Houston PD's Chief, Troy Finner, just confirmed what we'd been told ... namely, that at least one person had been injected with something via needle -- and there well may have been more. Chief Finner said a security guard working the event felt a prick in his neck by an unknown assailant while he was trying to restrain a citizen -- and he quickly fell unconscious. Finner says the guard was revived by use of NARCAN ... and that medical personnel did, indeed, see something on his neck that indicated he'd been stabbed with a syringe.

At least eight people are dead after a crowd surge during the sold-out Astroworld music festival in Houston on Friday, the city's fire chief said. Seventeen people were transported to the hospital after the crush, and 11 who were taken by ambulance were in cardiac arrest, Houston officials said. In all, more than 300 people were treated throughout the event Friday at an on-site field hospital. Around 9:15 p.m. local time (10:15 p.m. ET) "the crowd began to compress toward the front of the stage," Fire Chief Samuel Peña said at a news conference early Saturday. "That caused some panic,...

Dozens of ambulances, multiple medics and other personnel were seen tending to people at the third annual festival, a sold-out concert featuring multiple acts. Videos posted to social media showed officials giving CPR to some fans in the crowd as Scott continued to play. Some appeared to have been badly bleeding, as fans say they saw some people appearing lifeless. The Houston Fire Department told ABC 13 CPR was performed on at least two people, and Zack Tawatari, a...

It's the place where Houston children got their summer thrills, teenagers got their first jobs and college students saw their favorite bands. Now after 37 years, the landmark Six Flags AstroWorld theme park will close at the end of this season, the victim of rising land values that overshadow its worth as an entertainment venue. "While attendance has gone down, the value of the land has gone up substantially," said Jim Dannhauser, chief financial officer of Oklahoma City-based Six Flags. Owner of 30 amusement parks, Six Flags has more than $2 billion in debt. Former Houston Mayor Roy Hofheinz opened...
