Rochester police Capt. John Sherwin said a man was walking on the 600 block of Silver Lake Drive Northeast about 4 a.m. Sunday when several cars pulled up and a group of men jumped out. The man told police the men kicked, punched and scratched him, eventually taking car keys, a cell phone and some cash. Sherwin said the man's earrings were also ripped out before the group drove off.
