The Athens, AL Police Department is investigating a reported attack against Tara Johnson, a Trump volunteer, outside a local Republican Party headquarters in what is alleged to have been a “politically motivated attack.” Tara Johnson, described as a “dedicated Republican volunteer” in a press release from the Alabama Republican Party, was assaulted outside the Limestone County, AL GOP Trump Headquarters over the weekend. Police in Missouri are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects after a video emerged purportedly showing one of them striking a Walgreens employee outside of a store. The Independence Police Department says the assault unfolded last Wednesday in the 3900 Block of South Noland Road. “An employee of the business was assaulted when they attempted to intervene in a shoplift,” the department said in a statement. Video broadcast by Fox4 KC appears to show an employee getting knocked to the ground while engaging in a struggle with a female suspect outside the front of the store.

Howard Banks heard a noise outside his home and went out to investigate. Banks is legally blind. Rochester police Capt. John Sherwin said a man was walking on the 600 block of Silver Lake Drive Northeast about 4 a.m. Sunday when several cars pulled up and a group of men jumped out. The man told police the men kicked, punched and scratched him, eventually taking car keys, a cell phone and some cash. Sherwin said the man's earrings were also ripped out before the group drove off. The man wasn't seriously hurt. He wasn't able to offer a description of the cars involved.
