CNN likely had more viewers of their town hall event with President Donald Trump Wednesday night than most of their regular shows combined. It was the first time I’d watched more than a clip from the network in years. Knowing the advertising boom this brought for them, it was odd that they cut off the interview over 20-minutes longer than they had allotted. Congressman Matt Gaetz has a theory: Did CNN cut it short because Trump was doing SO WELL? I’ve never seen a Town Hall get called like a “Mercy Rule” before. Did that really happen? Trump has broken both Team Desantis & the Dems tonight. Write this date down. This is the date Trump overwhelmingly won the 2024 election. He moved the needle with moderate democrats tonight. Mark my words. This is scaring the shit out of both of #MAGA's current enemies. #DeSimps pic.twitter.com/2nEZuZ6FkR— Tommy Egan (@tommyegan1776) May 11, 2023

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took a swing at Mayor Eric Adams Tuesday, saying that Jordan Neely — the homeless man who was choked to death on the subway last week — was “killed by the demonizing of the poor by many of our leaders.” Neely, 30, was having a mental episode and threatening straphangers when another subway rider, later identified as 24-year-old former Marine Daniel Penny, placed him in a chokehold, which killed him. Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday blamed the Big Apple’s leaders. “Jordan Neely was killed by public policy. He was killed by the demonizing of the poor by many of...

One of the greatest betrayals in our history happened while America slept.. When Biden met with Lula da Silva, the founder of the Marxist Brazil’s Workers’ Party and a convicted criminal, it was a victory lap for both socialists. Lula da Silva, Brazil’s former leader, had survived his bribery conviction and rigged an election that overthrew Jair Bolsonaro: his conservative patriotic predecessor. Biden had survived his own trial by fire during the midterms which locked down the 2024 Democrat nomination. Lula also met with fellow Marxists: Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. Biden and Lula talked of “democracy” and “fighting...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In an effort to establish government oversight of the growing role of artificial intelligence in our society, President Biden has appointed Vice President Kamala Harris as "A.I. Czar." The President expressed hope that Harris's track record of slowing the spread of intelligence will be of use. "She's been fighting against the threat of intelligence her whole life," Biden said in brief remarks when the announcement was made. "When it comes to creating an environment where intelligence is restricted and unable to advance too far, Vice President Harris is more qualified for the job than anyone else. Racecar...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has described the killing of a man suffering a mental breakdown on the New York City subway as 'a public execution', as calls mount for those responsible to be criminally charged. Jordan Neely, 30, died on Monday on the subway after being put in a chokehold by a U.S. Marine veteran. Neely, who was well known as a Michael Jackson impersonator entertaining passengers on the train, was in the midst of a mental health episode, and was reportedly marching up and down the train carriage ranting. Neely had autism and schizophrenia and had been arrested 42 times in...

Tuesday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) touted an effort he and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had partnered on to combat insider trading within Congress. According to the Florida Republican, his New York colleague was “wrong a lot” but not “corrupt.” “AOC is wrong a lot,” he said. “She’d probably say the same thing about me. But she’s not corrupt. And I will work with anyone and every one to ensure that Congress is not so compromised. We should disallow congressional stock trading for the same reason we don’t allow the referee...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) joined calls by progressives for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to resign as her prolonged absence hampers Democrats. Feinstein, 89, has been out of the Senate since February, when she contracted shingles, which has prompted a small contingent of progressives in the House to urge her to resign. So far, Feinstein has refused to do so, and allies such as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) have cried sexism

Not long ago I was writing in defense of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. When she first entered Congress as an inner-city twenty something who’d knocked off longtime insider Joe Crowley with a Sandersian policy profile, her own party’s establishment ridiculed her as a lefty Trump. Nancy Pelosi scoffed that her win just meant voters “made a choice in one district,” so “let’s not get carried away.” Ben Ritz, director of the Progressive Policy Institute, an offshoot of the old Democratic Leadership Council, groused, “Oh, please, she just promised everyone a bunch of free stuff.” This was before AOC decided to be the...

Earlier this month, ProPublica attempted to smear Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, implying in its reporting that he was compromised due to his friendship with real estate mogul and billionaire Republican donor Harlan Crow based on the holidays the Thomas family spent with the Crow family. It led many Democrats who themselves have engaged in ethically questionable behavior to besmirch Thomas. The high priestess of liberal hypocrisy, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a.k.a. AOC, who is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee for possible violation of congressional rules for accepting impermissible gifts, is one of the loudest advocates of branding Thomas as...

As Twitchy readers know, AOC recently spoke with Jen ‘Circle Back’ Psaki about using government regulation to stifle the speech of people like Tucker Carlson, who she claims clearly engages in ‘incitement of violence’. What does this incitement to violence look like? Telling the public what liberals are doing. That’s it. That’s why she hates Tucker Carlson. Unsurprisingly, AOC was quite pleased to hear that Tucker and Fox News were parting ways, and the congresswoman turned the camera on herself to spread her speech-squashing satisfaction on the perfect platform for such pronouncements: Chinese-owned TikTok. She summarized her thoughts by saying...

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says the lawmaker leading the House Republican caucus is congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene — not House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. AOC delivered the diss on MSNBC Sunday to former White House press secretary-turned-anchor Jen Psaki, who had asked the lefty pol if she thought McCarthy (R-Calif.) was running the caucus. “He’s not,” Ocasio-Cortez said, prompting Psaki to ask who was in charge. “I think you’ve got Marjorie Taylor Greene running the caucus. I mean, and she makes very common public statements to that effect,” Ocasio-Cortez insisted on Inside with Jen Psaki. “Every time something irks her...

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that the Republican Party is attempting to “roll back” the civil liberties of women and LGBTQ Americans. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said, “I think we are in a extremely serious moment. I believe that the Republican Party is not starting at Roe. They will not stop at Roe. They will not stop at women’s rights.” She added, “I believe what we are seeing is a concerted roll back of civil liberties in general. Our right to privacy, our right to bodily autonomy, all right to marry whomever we wish to marry, all of...

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that Fox News host Tucker Carlson and others on the network are “very clearly” inciting violence. Psaki said, “This week, Fox News settled their defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million, a lot of money. It is now the largest defamation settlement in history. Do you think Dominion’s lawyers made a mistake not requiring Fox to acknowledge on air that it lied to its viewers?”

A Queens woman who lost an eye in a horrifying caught-on-camera attack this past September blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Thursday after the lawmaker suggested funding for much-needed NYPD raises instead be given to the Big Apple’s public schools, pools, parks and libraries. Elizabeth Gomes, 33, who was dragged across the Howard Beach-JFK Airport subway station by a homeless ex-con last year, decried the “Squad” member’s calls to reduce police funding in an interview with “Fox & Friends.” “Once you put safety first, everything else will go right after it,” Gomes said. “I cannot call a teacher if I need...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) thinks Mayor Eric Adams should fund community violence prevention programs without law enforcement rather than increase police wages. In an interview with “The Daily Show,” Ocasio-Cortez discussed the “Stand Up to Violence” program at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, which addresses violence as a public health issue and allows social workers to investigate shootings without law enforcement. When the show’s host, Jordan Klepper, asked if Mayor Adams misplaced funding that bumps rookie NYPD cop’s annual salary by 28%, Ocasio-Cortez said she “thinks so.” “We are now at a point where officially, most officers are paid...

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks Mayor Eric Adams gave away the store this month when he greenlit raises for cops under City Hall’s recent agreement with the Big Apple’s largest police union – after the thin blue line went seven years without a raise. “We are in New York City, and you’re talking about funding violence prevention outside of the police and yet Eric Adams has just increased police wages by 28%. Is that misplaced?” “The Daily Show” host Jordan Klepper asked the “Squad” member Monday. “I think so,” the pol agreed while touring Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx....

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez concealed thousands of dollars in campaign spending, an ethics complaint exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation alleges. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint cites more than $9,600 in reported campaign credit card expenditures that lacked information on the purpose of the charges. Dan Backer filed the complaint on behalf of the Coolidge Reagan Foundation, a nonprofit organization that’s levied similar complaints. “This Complaint arises from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s repeated, blatant violations of federal campaign finance law to conceal how she spent thousands of dollars of campaign funds. On numerous occasions throughout 2022,...

AOC Needs to GO: Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is a Marxist revolutionary masquerading as a “defender” of “our democracy”. Of course, AOC’s definition of “democracy” is not inclusive at all. It is highly restrictive. Democracy, according to AOC and her fellow Democrats, is reserved only for the anointed few who believe in the same insanity that she (and her donors) do. That is why AOC’s recent tirades against the Supreme Court are so troubling. Up until recently, AOC could be ignored as an ignorant backbencher in Congress who got the perks of having a safe seat in Congress with no...
