Can someone please corroborate my story? I took a friend this morning for her American citizenship swearing-in ceremony in Atlanta, GA. She's been a kindergarten teacher for many years working LEGALLY with a green card. Last November she applied for American citizenship and passed her examination and interview. Today, she, ALONG WITH ABOUT FIFTY OTHERS, swore their allegiance to the United States and officially awarded a certificate of citizenship and a little American Flag and ushered out the door.
