PORTLAND, Ore. – Five people were arrested on January 21st following alleged acts of vandalism during a downtown Portland rally and march. Police say the protest began at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Around 6:50 p.m., the group of protesters began their march, which was monitored by officers from both the Portland Police Bureau and Oregon State Police. During the event, several individuals were allegedly observed defacing public property with graffiti. Law enforcement made targeted arrests of those allegedly directly involved in the vandalism.
