SAN`A, Yemen: A Yemeni court on Sunday convicted a Muslim extremist of plotting the assassination of a politician and three American missionaries and sentenced him to death. Ali al-Jarallah was found guilty of planning the December 2002 assassination of Yemeni Socialist Party deputy secretary-general Jarallah Omar, as well as the murder two days later of three American missionaries.
