FOREST ACRES, SC (WIS) - Police in Forest Acres confirmed at a noon news conference that an officer with the Forest Acres Police Department was killed in a shooting Wednesday morning. The suspect has also been arrested in connection with the case. "What a tragic day here in Forest Acres," Police Chief Gene Sealy said to start the news conference. I have just learned that Alia has died. She died around midnight last Tuesday morning from a massive heart attack. I heard about this via email from a mutual friend. I have verified it. I first met her online in the Compuserve Townhall Forum in 1995. She leaves a husban, children, and grandchildren. She was much younger than me. This is a blow. :(
