Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump’s administration has an “obsession of being cruel and aggressive.” Padilla said, “This administration has been anything but forthcoming and transparent with information as it pertains to immigration enforcement, not just here in Los Angeles, but since he took office on January 20th and everywhere in between. So it is absolutely frustrating.” He continued, “To say that they’re only targeting violent criminals is false. That’s what has so many people upset. And that and they’re choosing to ignore due process in a lot of these cases as...

President Joe Biden plans to be very aggressive during the debate with former President Donald Trump, according to a Biden campaign official. Biden’s most important task will be “to show that he is not diminished and is capable of carrying out presidential duties in a second term,” Allan Lichtman, a history professor at American University, told the Financial Times on Friday. “[Biden] needs to shake things up,” political analyst Charlie Cook said. “Debates usually don’t, but certainly could. There are not many known potential inflection points in presidential races, but debates are certainly a possibility.”

Calamity Joe faces a resentful media No more are they asking which flavor ice cream he prefers, as they did there at the beginning. “Mr. President…Mr. President…what do you like best, chocolate or vanilla?” That’s as far as it got for investigative reporting from America’s docile media. Joe had them at hello. Now is it goodbye? Before our eyes we are watching Joe and his presidency unraveling domino by domino as more questions are being asked about his neglect toward classified files …a serious breach. So serious that it could bring down his presidency…especially so with the Republican House on...

On Friday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) called for the Federal Reserve to remain aggressive on inflation. He also noted that New Jersey, like many other states, has unspent COVID relief money along with other government spending that will hit in the future. Murphy stated that while he is pleased by the October Consumer Price Index (CPI), “I would think, and this brings me no joy, because this is brutal at the kitchen table, but I think, if anything, the Fed continues to overcorrect. I’m on the side of aggressive behavior, because otherwise, a...

As Russia's war on Ukraine continues, some experts warn Russia might escalate the conflict further either in Ukraine or against the western nations supporting it, with the goal of forcing those nations to capitulate to its demands. This strategy, former Defense Intelligence Agency officer Rebekah Koffler told Fox News, is called "escalate to de-escalate." It has roots in Russia's planning for a war against the United States, Koffler said, but similar thinking is now standard throughout Russia's military planning.

The Covington Catholic students were smeared by the media after they were confronted by left-wing activists near the Lincoln Memorial at the March for Life. “The members of the mob who falsely attacked or threatened Nick Sandmann should be on notice that his attorneys will identify them and will take aggressive legal action against them to achieve full accountability for their wrongdoing and...

WASHINGTON – It was a two-day trip to the Midwest to talk about jobs and clean energy. President Barack Obama didn't mention the drama unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico, where oil was gushing from a broken well pipe a mile beneath the sea. The situation hadn't become a priority. Soon it would. On the return to Washington aboard Air Force One, Obama learned the spill had become more worrisome. A third break was discovered at the destroyed well pipe on the ocean floor 40 miles from Louisiana's precious coastal marshes. Federal scientists believed at least 5,000 barrels of oil...

Speaking to his party's senators at their strategy conference, Obama reminded Democrats they still hold a 59-41 majority, one shy of the 60 needed to overcome Republican filibuster delay tactics. Democrats lost a "super majority" when Republican Scott Brown won in a special election upset in Massachusetts. Obama said that for Democrats searching for a lesson from that election, "The answer is not to do nothing." "The American people are...
