The President and First Lady Laura Bush attended 3 rallies today in Florida today, they were joined by Jebb Bush and Jack Nicklaus. The crowds were incredibly large and enthisiastic. President Bush and first lady Laura Bush depart the White House for a day of campaigning in Ohio and West Virginia, before returning to the White House later Friday. Georgia Senator Zell Miller campaigned with president Bush today as well ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND

President Bush campaigned in Lima, Troy, and Perrysburg, Ohio where the crowd was large and very enthusiastic. President Bush will be speaking at the RNC Convention on Thursday of this week, where he will accept the Republican Party's Nomination for a second term ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND

On Friday President Bush spoke to a group of minority journalist (Unity Journalists of Color Convention) that ended with a question and answer session with the reporters. He later went to New Hampshire for a campaign rally and ended up in Maine so he could attand his Nephew George P. Bush's Wedding ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAND

Today President Bush met with Pope John Paul II during their 15 minute closed door meeting and later a photo op at the Vatican today. He presented the Pope with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Later he met with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and laid a wreath at the mausoleum, at Rome's Fosse Ardeatine where 335 Italians were slaughtered by occupying Nazis on March 24, 1944. President Bush also met with Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi at the Quirinale Palace in Rome Italy ENJOY YOUR VIST TO SANITY ISLAND

President Bush met with Jordan's King Abdullah II today at the White house today and he also signed the Consumer Privacy Bill and just a little while ago he and Laura attended the Pageant of Peace and lit the National Christmas Tree Enjoy your visit to the "Dose"
