“I suspect that you will continue to hear coming from the United States additional packages of security assistance, additional weapons and capabilities for Ukraine – perhaps as soon as the end of this week,” White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told CNN.Kirby didn’t elaborate on the contents of the package but said that the U.S. was concentrated “on trying to make sure that we are giving Ukraine what they need in the fight that they’re in.”“We’re gonna continue to modulate these packages so that they’re most appropriate for what Ukraine need

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Joe Biden's administration is readying about $800 million of additional military aid to Ukraine and could announce it as soon as Friday, three sources familiar with the matter said on Thursday.Biden would authorize the assistance using his Presidential Drawdown Authority, which allows the president to authorize the transfer of excess weapons from U.S. stocks, the sources told Reuters. The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that an announcement could slip into next week, cautioning that weapons packages can change in value before they are announced. The White House declined to comment.

Under no circumstances should anyone angered by the current alignment of back-stabbing republicans want to see Senator Marco Rubio taken down, NOT YET! Rubio is very useful tool to insure success of the vulgarian insurgency; ie. to insure Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination. Senator Rubio polling well in the presidential race -and allowing the establishment optimism- keeps the GOPe RINO-class following along happily. We benefit more from smiles amid their faces, at the crustless triangle sandwich parties, than for them to be developing alternate anti-vulgarian strategies.

WASHINGTON - Three prominent journalists testified Monday that Bush administration officials volunteered leaks about a CIA operative, as I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby's attorneys sought to suggest he was not responsible for exposing her. The jury in Libby's perjury trial heard a 66-second snippet of one of the deep background interviews given to Washington Post editor Bob Woodward for use in one of his books. They also saw a parade of Pulitzer-prize winning journalists discuss who did and did not leak the information that set off a scandal and ultimately brought Libby to trial. Woodward, who never wrote about Plame, and...

"These soldiers have already been in Kuwait for a few months," Ey said. "They are trained and...

Yasser Arafat died last month. This month, his death is prompting plans for a foreign aid bounty of $500 million to $1 billion a year for the Palestinian Arabs. That's the scoop Steven Weisman published in the New York Times on December 17. He revealed that Western, Arab, and other governments plan to add a 50% to 100% bonus to the $1 billion a year they already direct to 3.5 million Palestinian Arabs in the territories, contingent upon a crackdown on terrorist groups and the holding of credible elections in January 2005.(Asked about Mr. Weisman's report, White House spokesman Scott McClellan...

Increase in Combat Forces Likely in Iraq, Commanders Say BAGHDAD, Nov. 21 -- Senior U.S. military commanders in Iraq say it is increasingly likely they will need a further increase in combat forces to go after remaining areas of resistance in the country. Convinced the recent battle for Fallujah has significantly weakened insurgent ranks, commanders here have devised plans to press the offensive into neighborhoods where enemy fighters have taken refuge after fleeing Fallujah or were already deeply entrenched. But the forces available for these intensified operations have become limited by the demands of securing Fallujah and of overseeing the...
