TEHRAN, Iran - An Iranian vice president, who was a close ally of reformist President Mohammad Khatami, resigned Tuesday, saying he could not work with the conservative-dominated parliament. Mohammad Ali Abtahi first tendered his resignation in February, but it was not accepted.
