Of the more than 2,200 people who received federal sentences for drug possession in fiscal year 2014, almost three-quarters of them were illegal immigrants, according to new data from the United States Sentencing Commission. Illegal immigrants also made up more than one-third of all federal sentences, that data said. The commission's data showed a slight decline in the total number of illegal alien sentences from 2013 to 2014, but still showed that the illegal population is a major contributor to federal crimes in America. In 2013, illegal immigrants were responsible for 38.6 percent of all federal sentencing, and that dropped...

Three MS-13 street-gang members from El Salvador are being held without bail on charges they forced a 16-year-old New York girl into the woods near a golf course, and two of them raped her while the third kept watch. “This is one of the most brutal, heinous crimes that I have seen in a long, long time,” Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said at a news conference, according to New York’s WNBC-TV. “This poor young woman is so lucky that, quite frankly, that she is alive. These are vicious young men, vicious young men, and what they did to...

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on Monday named a veteran of Mitt Romney and John McCain’s presidential campaigns as his campaign manager, a week before he makes his own bid official. Bush named Danny Diaz as campaign manager, a position that was widely expected to go to Dave Kochel, a Republican operative with experience in Iowa politics. Bush senior adviser Sally Bradshaw said in a statement that Kochel “can best position us for success by playing a key leadership role focusing on how Jeb wins primaries, caucuses, and ultimately the general election.” She said Diaz’s “skill at rapidly moving content...

As American Pharoah came out of the far turn and squared his shoulders to let his rider, Victor Espinoza, stare down the long withering stretch of Belmont Park, a sense of inevitability surged through this mammoth old grandstand. The fans in a capacity crowd strained on their tiptoes and let out a roar from deep in their souls. It was going to end, finally — this 37-year search for a great racehorse. No, a battered old sport was looking for an immortal thoroughbred, one worthy to stand alongside Sir Barton and Assault, War Admiral and Whirlaway, Count Fleet and Citation,...

President Obama's 16 year old daughter Malia is one lucky teenager. A lawyer in Kenya is offering to marry her "not for money, but for love." And to sweeten the pot, he will offer President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for her. So far, the White House has had no comment as President Obama no doubt weighs the pros and cons of the offer. Sky News reports that Felix Kiprono told Kenya daily The Nairobian that he "got interested" in Malia in 2008. President Obama was then running for office for the first time and Malia was 10. Mr...

Of 20 nations that donated to the Foundation, 17 had more robust weapons transactions in the three fiscal years that State was led by Hillary than in the last three years of the previous administration. How do you convince a president who got elected in 2008 on an anti-war platform repudiating warmongering cowboy George W. Bush to ramp up arms deals to unsavory regimes in the Middle East? Slipping a fat envelope into the Clinton slush fund’s collection box couldn’t hurt. And evidently didn’t.Personally, I’m pretty excited to have every foreign-policy transaction the United States engages in through 2020,...

A would be carjacker was stopped by an armed citizen in Atlanta and held at gunpoint until police arrived. Edgar Horn, 61, allegedly slipped into the passenger's seat of his car as he pulled into a Family Dollar on Marietta Boulevard. "You know what this is," Horn allegedly told Fannin. That's when Fannin pulled out his gun and told Horn to get out of his car. Apparently Horn thought he could just leave, but Fannin wasn't having any of that.

Jeb Bush was left grasping for a response when a student challenged him during a meeting by declaring: "Your brother created Isis". Mr Bush, the former governor of Florida and sibling of George W. Bush, was wrapping up a town-hall style discussion when Ivy Ziedrich, a 19-year-old student at the University of Nevada, commanded his attention by asking him to take a student question. Her question revolved around a claim he made earlier in the meeting that America's retreat from the Middle East under the Obama administration was in part responsible for the rapid rise of the Isis terror group....

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush believes he can convince conservative primary voters that illegal immigrants should be “punished”–by being granted a path to amnesty. In an interview from Liberty University that aired Monday on Fox News, host Megyn Kelly told him, “you know that there’s a core wing of the party for whom this will be a deal breaker.” Bush replied, “I don’t know that.” “I’ve been traveling over the last three months. I get a sense that a lot of people can be persuaded, to be honest with you,” he said. Polls, though, have shown conservatives in early primary...

Who can this country turn to in dark times, uncertain times, times of unrest, for cogent, well-formulated common-sense solutions and the inspiration to achieve them? Michael Moore, of course, as illustrated by the five-tweet rant that will save America. Imprison u, shoot u, sever your spine, crush your larynx, send u to war, keep u poor, call u a thug, not let u vote. But u can sing for us. — Michael Moore (@MMFlint) April 30, 2015 Here's my demand: I want every African-American currently incarcerated for drug "crimes" or nonviolent offenses released from prison today. — Michael Moore (@MMFlint)...

( Very long original title: Barack Hussein Obama will join Turkish president Recep Erdogan at the opening of a new $100 million Turkish mega-mosquetrosity in Maryland.) By BI: In the last 100 years, only one new church has been given permission to build in Turkey (albeit on top of a graveyard). But in America, under the Obama Regime, Turkey is set to open a monstrous $100 million Islamic indoctrination and jihad training center in Maryland. Built on a 15-acre site, the Turkish Cultural Center will be the largest and most ostentatious example of Islamic supremacism in the Western hemisphere. ANADOLU...

During a heated debate over an Indiana “religious freedom” bill, a Democratic representative took the opportunity to accuse the child of one of her colleagues of racism. The child is an 18-month-old toddler. “I told Jud McMillin I love his son, but he’s scared of me because of my color and that’s horrible,” Summers said, to groans. “It’s true,” she insisted. She urged McMillin to “introduce your child to some people of color so that he won’t live his life as a prejudiced person.”

A screen shot of the website of the Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana, which states, "The family is our point of reference" (www.dolcegabbana.com/dgfamily/) One of the world's most famous and prestigious fashion houses has come under barrage of harsh and angry attacks after stating to the Italian press that, "The only family is the traditional one." Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of the Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana are themselves gay men. All the more surprising, then, that other high profile homosexuals should create a social media tsunami against the pair. Elton John, the English singer and...

One mother’s essay, which states her desire for her 6-year-old daughter to be gay, has triggered a debate about parenting and gender stereotypes. Sally Kohn, a CNN contributor, lives with her partner Sarah Hansen and their daughter Willa Hansen-Kohn in Brooklyn, New York. In her recent essay for the Washington Post, Kohn writes, “I’m gay. And I want my kid to be gay, too.” She explains her stance by saying, “But more often than not, we define happiness as some variation on our own lives, or at least the lives of our expectations. If we went to college, we want...
