Senate Democrats aren't satisfied yet with the amount of violence directed at ICE and CBP agents, so they are planning to create what they call a "Master ICE Tracker to warn illegal aliens about ICE activity, and give Antifa militants more information about where exactly to position themselves for ambushes.
Assaults on ICE agents have skyrocketed by 1000%, and the violence directed at them has escalated from throwing Subway sandwiches to taking potshots at them and ramming cars into agents.
But, to Democrats, ICE is the modern Gestapo; it seems like this level of violence and resistance to law enforcement officers is not nearly enough.
Shutdown Democrats are already refusing to pay our law enforcement agents. Ethically, this is appalling. Morally, it is an implicit aid to people committing violence. Politically, it seems like it wouldn't make sense until you dig a little deeper.
Democrats have been trying to escape the accusation that they have shut down the government because they want to provide health insurance to illegal aliens, and in polls, the Democrats are on the losing side of the illegal immigration issue. On its face, you would think that going so far out on a limb—choosing the side of the illegal aliens over law enforcement—would not be where they want to go.
But...with their base, which in this case is mainly the AWFLs, illegal immigration is a big issue because the stories being told tug at their heartstrings. I have seen this up close and personal, where otherwise smart and rational people get teary-eyed over stories designed to hit them where their emotions are rawest.
It's a short-term strategy for Democrats, since policies like this won't help them in national elections. But the hope is that in purple districts with large numbers of professionals who generally aren't hurt by illegal immigration, it will motivate people just enough to help. Blue-collar people may be disgusted, but an AWFL will cheer them on.
Democrats are in deep trouble as a party, and clearly, they are not trying to moderate their message. They are moving in the other direction, hoping to gin up the base for the midterms.
It's not a great strategy, but moderate Democrats are checked out and disgusted, so lurching left may motivate the hard core.

Will it work? I have no idea. The economy will dominate the next election cycle. But Democrats may be underestimating how damaging their extremism on issues like immigration and alphabet ideology are, and overestimating how much their talk of funding for education and health care will help. Americans are souring on public schools, and while health care costs matter a lot, I am not certain that they benefit as much from middle-class dissatisfaction with the system as they think they will.
Democrats have no real leadership or unified messaging, and it shows. "Moderate" Democrats are bending the knee to the left, who have the most enthusiastic support from the base.
The Mamdani wing of the party is ascendant, and it shows.

The shutdown hurts dems far more. They are the party of socialist redistribution. The spigot is being turned off. Tue drunks complain to and attack the bartender when the taps run dry. They are the bartender.
I have a feeling that ICE will be able to track any person accessing the ICE tracker. And that would include the party members funding and accessing it. Trump isn’t playing a game and the Dems are going to get hit hard on this one.
Although I admire Judge Jeanine Pirro, I think making a big deal out of the thrown Subway sub at the agent was a mistake. It trivialized the serious nature of leftists plotting to physically attack agents. Plus it was denied by a judge.
One woman judge in the 3 judge panel ruling on allowing the Guard to be sent by Trump said the silly costumes of unicorns and frogs at the protests show it is not a physical threat to anyone in the city and there is no justification for trying to send troops or guardsmen.
The coming civil war and all of these beginning leftist skirmishes are a deadly serious matter.

I wonder if this will last much longer than the previous attempt to do the same thing that only lasted about a week due to ‘MAGA autists’ ‘monkeywrenching’ it: overwhelming the system with false reports.
I imagine that the Democrats will figure out a way that the taxpayers in general have to pay for it, and will use Government agencies to set it up and operate it, but is should not be allowed last long.
And Bondi should get off her Deep State butt and start having these politicians arrested and tried for any and all appropriate charges. She says ‘Zero Tolerance’ for anyone attacking ICE.... How about ZERO TOLERANCE for those that enable it??????
Great...I guess all the facilities of the FED's...ICE....FBI...CIA...etc.....can tap into said phones, track and arrest all the illegals using it.
And the bonus is that their ICE tracker geo-locates the assembly locations for the illegals.

I wonder when the Feds are going to do something about them being assaulted by homosexuals and DemonRAT girly men like Booby Garcia (D-Peru).
This is not going to stop until those doing or enabling this are charged, convicted of criminal behavior and locked away for several years before any parole would be considered.
They will never feel any shame or guilt over this.
They will need to be stopped by force.
