The highly-anticipated inspector general report about the Justice Department and FBI’s handling of its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server is set to be released on June 14, President Trump's birthday. Michael Horowitz, the Justice Department’s inspector general, told Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley that the report is currently under review and certain parts are being classified, but “[m]ost of this process is complete.” “[W]e anticipate releasing the report on June 14, 2018,” Horowitz said in a Thursday letter to Grassley. Horowitz also said he will testify before the committee on the report during a June 18 hearing.
