TEMPE, Arizona (CNN) -- Sen. John Kerry appeared to gain more momentum heading toward November 2, easily beating President Bush in the third and final debate, a poll taken late Wednesday night suggests. A CNN/USA Today/Gallup snap poll taken immediately after the presidential debate found that respondents gave a significant edge to Kerry over Bush, 52 percent to 39 percent. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points. The numbers were similar to the results of a poll taken the night of the first debate September 30 in Miami, Florida. That night Kerry was...

The DUmmies, knowing in their guts that they will be losing the BIG POLL on November 2, are now trying to make themselves FEEL GOOD by attempting to win the online Post-Debate polls all over the country. They have conveniently listed dozens upon dozens of online polls on this DUmmie THREAD. Anyway, lets allow the DUmmies their temporary feel-good experience for now because after November 2 when the REAL POLL results come in they will be suffering a massive depression. The hysterical rantings of the DUmmies are in Bolshevik Red while the incisive remarks of your humble correspondent are in...

I thought this deserved its own thread as Salon is really getting worked up on the buldge in Bush's jacket. Warning: This photo is huge (which is a good thing as you can clearly see the same square shape in Clintons jacket) http://www.af.mil/media/photodb/photos/040112-F-8489N-029.jpg

Apparently it wasn't just conservatives that thought Bush drop-kicked Kerry Friday night. Charlie Gibson didn't think much of ABC's candidate either. From crushkerry.com: A Childish Act From a Non-Serious Candidate Check out this Halliburton "Pre-Buttal" called a "Hallibuttal" on the Kerry website. At first we thought it was a parody given that it's in comic book form, but it's not. Not only are the facts twisted beyond recognition, it is unworthy of a man running for President, except of course one who likes to insult our intelligence. We thought that jabroni's like us had the "childish" market cornered. We were wrong.

The debate tonight presents a tremendous opportunity for the campaign to attract undecided voters, but people's perceptions are shaped as much by their conversations around the water cooler as by the debates themselves. The Vice President's goal is to do what he's been doing throughout this election: explain to the American people why the President's policies are right for America and the world we live in today - in fighting the war on terror, in keeping our economy growing and in responding to the new challenges of the 21st century.  After last week's debate, the Kerry campaign spin machine...

WE RECEIVED THE following letter from a woman in Yonkers, N.Y.: "Dear editor: This debate made it clear: John Kerry is a leader we can trust to tell us the truth when it comes to our nation's security. George Bush has had his chance; I'm ready for a new direction." Cogent, succinct, personal -- everything we look for in a letter. So why are we writing about it here, instead of publishing it in the columns to the right? Unfortunately, the letter, perfect in every other way, arrived in our electronic in-box Thursday afternoon, four hours and 14 minutes before...

This is a copy of an email I got. Dear xxxxx, John Kerry and George Bush will debate foreign policy for 90 minutes this Thursday, September 30, in the first of three presidential debates. As far as swing voters and the media are concerned, the real debate will begin once Kerry and Bush leave the stage: Who really won? Why? If you can spare just five minutes after the debate, you can make a huge difference to the outcome of this election. We are organizing a national post-debate, rapid-response effort that will reinforce Kerry's position on Iraq: Bush's Iraq is...

President Bush has set a debate trap for John Kerry that will force him to take positions opposed by a large percentage of his backers, former top Clinton strategist Dick Morris said Monday. "What's happened is that Bush has set up a trap for Kerry," Morris told Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes." "He has so emphasized Kerry's flip-flopping, so-called weakness, vacillation, all that stuff, that Kerry has to take strong positions in the debate." That will force Kerry to make his position clear once and for all on Iraq, the top strategist said - which will inevitably cost him...

SPRING GREEN - Invoking images he hoped would resonate with local voters, presidential candidate John Kerry talked Monday of America's love for the Green Bay Packers, his memories of working on his uncle's dairy farm and fishing trips as a child during a 90- minute town-hall style meeting at River Valley Middle School. Kerry even held up a copy of the Wisconsin State Journal and answered three questions posed by readers. And he tried out his humor on the local crowd with a jab at President Bush's leadership - and the fact that he's 5 inches taller than Bush. Kerry...

Or has the senator been campaigning in the rust-belt? Kerry advisers defend the sudden deep tan transition, noting how it simply was from a game of flag football last Friday in Bedford, Mass. But the College Democrats who met Kerry were surprised by his rich tan glow -- before the game even began, the HARVARD CRIMSON reports.

Cal Thomas advises Kerry & Bush on debate strategy Cal Thomas Debate advice and questions Will many people watch the "debates," which resemble joint news conferences? The rules are so strict that the candidates don't engage each other. One-third of homes with television sets watched the first 2000 presidential debate between Gov. George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore. The first debate traditionally draws the most viewers, possibly including those precious "undecideds," so here is some unsolicited advice and suggested questions for both candidates. For Sen. Kerry: You have the most to prove. You are a rich, elitist Massachusetts...

When it comes to presidential debates, it seems size does matter. John Kerry, a 6-foot-4-inch Democrat, poked fun on Monday at George W. Bush, the 5-foot-11-inch Republican president for reportedly insisting that podiums be set far apart to offset his opponent's five-inch height advantage. The Massachusetts senator told a town hall meeting in Spring Green -- where he is rehearsing -- that voters should not be afraid of changing commanders in chief in the midst of war with Iraq and the battle against terror. "You know when your horse is headed down toward the waterfalls or when your horse is...

SPRING GREEN, WI -- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani visited Spring Green, Wisconsin today where he unveiled the “Debate Briefing Book for Senator Kerry” (as prepared by Bush-Cheney '04) and issued the following statement. "Senator Kerry has taken so many different positions on the issues facing the country that we thought he would benefit from the overview of the most interesting debate -- the one John Kerry is having with himself.  He's been for the war, against the war and for it and against it again.  Last week, he became an anti-war candidate again.  This is a fatal...
