Jack Kennedy Schlossberg turned out to be no Jack Kennedy. The grandson of the famed president lost his maiden run for public office Tuesday, falling in the Democratic primary in New York City's 12th Congressional district, which encompasses the wealth and glamour of midtown Manhattan. But Schlossberg's fame, status and cover boy good looks did not translate into votes. Micah Lasher was the top place finisher, ahead of Alex Bores. The two, both state lawmakers, got over 30 percent of the vote each. Schlossberg finished a distant third, with less than 11 percent of voters supporting him. Lasher worked for...

🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(6/24/26)[Prayer]PersonalitiesRuth 3:1-15 3 Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee? 2 And now is not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshing floor. 3 Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking. 4 And it shall be, when...

People have also mischaracterized the deal itself. This is not the end of the negotiations or the war. This is the very beginning of the problems for Iran. Once the kinetic part of the war stops, they have to face the people, and the people are angry, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”

In her last day in office, former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released this statement: I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth. Many of us have suspected these truths since the early days of COVID hysteria in the spring of 2020. There were enough facts...

DALLAS — Federal prosecutors have charged 13 people in North Texas as part of a sweeping nationwide healthcare fraud crackdown involving billions of dollars in false claims. The crackdown was a coordinated effort that included more than 450 defendants nationwide, U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould said in a news release. Investigators say the schemes involve more than $6.5 billion in fraudulent claims and, in some cases, led to serious patient harm. In North Texas alone, prosecutors say the cases involve more than $365 million in fraudulent billing, targeting taxpayer-funded programs like Medicare and TRICARE. Authorities also seized more than $35 million...

Walmart is signing a long-term contract to buy nuclear power for the first time ever, a promising sign that the industry’s future is supported by more than just the AI data center boom. The retail giant agreed on Tuesday to buy power from a nuclear plant in Illinois owned by Constellation Energy for its operations in the area, including its stores and a high-tech warehouse in Illinois that stores and sorts perishable food. Walmart will buy 176 megawatts of power from the plant over a 15-year period, or enough power to serve around 150,000 homes. The Walmart deal will allow...

Republicans on Capitol Hill are split over Vice President Vance’s rebuke of Israeli officials who criticized the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the U.S. and Iran, highlighting the broader debate on the right about foreign entanglements and the U.S.’s relationship with Israel. The MOU establishes a 60-day window for peace talks — which Vance is helping lead — and pauses active hostilities, including by securing a ceasefire in Lebanon where Israel has been battling the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah. But the deal has drawn sharp criticism from some Israeli officials, including national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who argued that Israel is...

Someone needs to update the spellchecker. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has apparently invented a new word. The word is “transfemicide.” Johnson spent part of the weekend reminding residents that Chicago remains under a “Transfemicide State of Emergency.” We’re just making up words now. The term itself appears to have originated in activist and academic circles in Latin America before eventually making its way into reports, advocacy campaigns, and now Chicago City Hall. Apparently somebody decided America was not producing activist jargon quickly enough and started importing it. People roll their eyes at terms like “transfemicide” because they have seen this...

First, why do we still care about this woman? Hillary Clinton is old news — the Democrats want to turn the page on her, and the country wants to move on. You had your time, lady. It’s over. But if she attacks Donald Trump or our nation’s institutions, the liberal media will get the cameras ready. There’s a new documentary coming out on Netflix about the former first lady and two-time presidential loser. Yes, she ripped into the Electoral College, because that’s why she lost, said by no one who’s serious (via Variety):Despite winning the popular vote by nearly three...

When Saul marched forth with his army, he cautioned: “Allah will test you with a river. So whoever drinks ˹his fill˺ from it is not with me, and whoever does not taste it—except a sip from the hollow of his hands—is definitely with me.” They all drank ˹their fill˺ except for a few! When he and the ˹remaining˺ faithful with him crossed the river, they said, “Now we are no match for Goliath and his warriors.” But those ˹believers˺ who were certain they would meet Allah reasoned, “How many times has a small force vanquished a mighty army by the...

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called for a massive increase in global climate spending, arguing that governments and financial institutions must devote significantly more resources to addressing climate-related challenges. In a special address at London Climate Action Week on Monday, Guterres said that governments must invest more heavily in climate-related initiatives. “We must do far more to protect people and communities from the here-and-now effects of climate chaos,” Guterres said. “Because even at full speed, we cannot outrun climate change. Its impacts are already here, compounding and cascading.” Guterres also highlighted Africa’s energy potential while arguing that the continent receives...

Republican voters ousted Utah’s most powerful lawmaker, state Senate President J. Stuart Adams, Tuesday after a series of controversies and mounting criticism for his role as one of the key decision-makers advancing a proposal to build a controversial data center in Box Elder County. Two other key GOP lawmakers — Sen. Daniel McCay and Rep. Trevor Lee — were voted out as well. Hundreds of thousands of dollars poured into the competition pitting Adams of Layton against Weber State University’s ex-general counsel, Stephanie Hollist, and former Legislature attorney Braden Hess. Hollist held the lead around 11:30 p.m. with 43% of...

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's gamble to push the New York Congressional delegation even further to the left paid off Tuesday night with a hat trick of wins. Mamdani ousted two sitting Democrats and filled a vacant congressional seat with young democratic socialists in a forceful show of progressive power. All seats are rated safely Democratic, so Mamdani's trio is expected to win their general elections in November. First was former city comptroller Brad Lander in the seat currently occupied by Democratic Representative Dan Goldman. NBC News called the race for Lander less than 10 minutes after polls closed....

"If you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. For He who said, 'Do not commit adultery,' also said, 'Do not commit murder.' Now if you do not commit adultery, but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law" (James 2:9-11). You sin when you fall short of God’s holy standard or go beyond the limits of His law. Many people attempt to justify their sinfulness by categorizing sins according to their...

We are a day or two late bidding farewell to Tucker Carlson, but, given the attention we have paid to his descent, a few comments are in order. Carlson says he is leaving the Republican Party. This is from Axios: “I’m out,” Carlson said on an episode of the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast that aired Thursday but gained traction online Monday. * “And if I’m out, then I think a lot of other people are out.” * “I would not support the Republican Party. There’s no chance I would support the Republican Party,” Carlson said, adding that the GOP has...
