CAIR-LA crosses a very distinct line in its attack on UCLA's guidelines against anti-Semitism. Hussam Ayloush deserves credit for cultivating his reputation as a “moderate Muslim.” He has proven effective at winning over audiences -- including liberal Jews -- all the while aiming many of his relentless anti-Israel attacks at them. His worst detractors would concede he qualifies as the educated and polished face of CAIR-LA (Council on American-Islamic Relations). Ayloush showcased his rhetorical skill at the time he issued a “public statement” opposing UCLA’s new guidelines to Combat Antisemitism (released by Chancellor Julio Frenk and a 15-person action group)....

President Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel's escalation in Lebanon in an expletive-laden call on Monday, two U.S. officials and a third source briefed on the call told Axios. Why it matters: Earlier on Monday, Iran threatened to abandon the negotiations with the U.S. over Israel's actions in Lebanon. On the call, Trump called Netanyahu "crazy" and accused him of ingratitude, according to two of the sources. He also put the brakes on Israel's plan to strike Beirut. Behind the scenes: One U.S. official said Trump told Netanyahu that following through on his threats to...

Oil prices were falling early Tuesday as markets watched to see if the U.S.-Iran peace deal will proceed after President Donald Trump’s efforts to achieve a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah. Brent crude futures, the international standard, were down 2% at $93.06 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate futures were falling 1.9% to $90.32 a barrel. Crude prices rose sharply on Monday after reports out of Iran said it suspended peace talks with the U.S. due to Israel’s military actions in Lebanon. However, Trump later said talks were continuing and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had called off attacks in...

Who are the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR, and why should Americans care? Because both are Islamist front groups dedicated to Islam’s eradication of Christianity and Judaism, the genocide of the Jews and anyone opposing them, and the conquest of Western Civilization. The invaluable Discover the Networks notes the Muslim Brotherhood is determined “that Islam should be ‘given hegemony over all matters of life.” To accomplish that, the Brother’s credo states: “God is our objective, the Koran is our Constitution, the Prophet is our leader, struggle [jihad] is our way, and death for the sake of God is the highest of...

Darializa Avila Chevalier, a democratic socialist congressional candidate endorsed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, deleted a previous Twitter account that included thousands of posts and reposts expressing support for abolishing police, prisons and borders, as well as seizing private property and nationalizing major industries and calling into question Israel’s right to exist. Avila Chevalier, a 32-year-old investigator at a public defender’s office in New York City and doctoral student, has emerged as one of the most prominent left-wing challengers in the country after Mamdani endorsed her bid to unseat longtime Democratic Rep. Adriano Espaillat in New York’s 13th...

Even though he didn’t admit it, he suffered a lot,” he [father, Danny Miller] told Israel National News... Honda Motors reported its first annual loss in nearly 70 years, which came as a result of an emphasis on electric cars. The Japan-based car company has been listed on the stock market since 1957, but the combination of electric vehicle bets and Trump trade policies led to its first-ever year in the red. "EV demand has declined considerably, due to the rollback of environmental regulations in the U.S. and other factors," Honda said in a statement, per a report from Fox Business. The company faces $9 billion in restructuring costs because of the lackluster electric vehicle demand. It suffered...

In this difficult economy, when families across America are struggling to cover rising costs for food, housing, and medical care, every tax dollar must be protected. President Donald J. Trump is showing strong leadership by taking direct action to stop the massive waste and theft that has drained safety-net programs for too long. His creation of the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud represents real commitment to making government work efficiently for American citizens. Perhaps it is common enough for Presidents to sign executive orders he does not read, or for members of Congress to vote on bills they do not read, but federal judges should aspire to a higher standard. Judge Eleanor Ross, who serves on the federal bench in Atlanta, engaged in multiple acts of misconduct. She carried on a secret affair with an Atlanta police department officer for nearly two years, repeatedly had loud sex in her chambers, lied about her trysts, and obstructed the investigation. Each of these actions warranted a public reprimand and an impeachment inquiry. But one of...

After long tolerating mass migration from the Global South—enabled by imaginary guilt on the part of the West, but equally harmful on that account—Europe now confronts an existential crisis of identity, security, and cohesion. Yet, amid rising crime rates linked to non-integrated migrants, strained welfare systems, and growing public discontent, an unelected cadre of judges at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg wields arbitrary power to determine who may remain on European soil. Far beyond the scope of judicial review, this is a form of juristocracy that systematically frustrates the will of democratic majorities and national governments...
