I’d guess that most of the membership would favor gay rights. As in, live and let live. But shouting about it from the rooftops? Nope.

As an involuntary member of a teachers’ union for many years, I’ll field that one.
In my union, no one gets to vote for the state and national leadership. Those folks are chosen at conventions by shadowy slates of delegates. And good luck trying to become a delegate. Those slates are always picked ahead of time, and are only very rarely broken.
Other unions have more direct voting methods. The guy that promises the most usually wins. And leftists are by nature irresponsible. They promise the most.
Remind me again how special treatment is EQUAL treatment....

Teamsters, lol. What’s next long shoremen? My how institutions are being swayed, not that I am a teamsters fan, but always thought of the rank and file as men’s men.
But in the original TV sketch, it was Connie Booth who appeared with Palin on stage, interacting with the Mountie choir and reacting to the increasingly risqué parts of the song.
So, if you’re looking at the very first Lumberjack Song on the original series, you’ll see Connie Booth in the role.
