In the fall, a video of Nick Fuentes criticizing Donald Trump drew the praise of progressive former US congressman Jamaal Bowman. “Finally getting it Nick,” Bowman commented, apparently recognizing some common ground between himself on the left and Fuentes, on the far right, who said in the video that Trump was “better than the Democrats for Israel, for the oil and gas industry, for Silicon Valley, for Wall Street,” but said he wasn’t “better for us.” “My problem with Trump isn’t that he’s Hitler — my problem with Trump is that he is not Hitler,” Fuentes said during his streaming...

When I grew up, we would never dare scream at, push, or even touch a police officer. We sure as hell would never throw things at a cop car. We would never refuse to comply with their orders or interfere with an arrest. It's different today. A destructive anti-ICE mob called for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to be hanged and declared that the only “good” immigration agent is a “dead one” as they turned Minneapolis into an apocalyptic wasteland overnight. Dystopian photos show a car with smashed-in windows in the middle of the debris-filled block, covered with threatening messages...

2 WCSO deputies were shot by an armed suspect during an investigation in the Maple Falls area. Both deputies were injured and partially incapacitated as a result. Without hesitation, Cody Deeter, an armed citizen and good Samaritan, put himself in harm’s way, placing himself between the suspect and the injured Deputies while engaging the armed suspect. Deeter’s selfless and decisive actions allowed Deputies to move to a position of cover and begin receiving medical aid. Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo added that “Deeter disregarded his own safety and provided the cover fire from his own weapon that was needed to...

ICE isn’t creating chaos; politicians and activists are—by turning routine detentions into viral outrage, provoking mobs, escalating encounters, and manufacturing danger for political gain. Over and over again, we’re told to be outraged. An individual is detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He is later released. And before the facts can catch their breath, Democratic politicians and activist megaphones are already screaming ‘abduction’, ‘fascism’, and ‘state violence’. Cue the mob. Cue the cameras. Cue the chaos. It plays out over and over again. Remember the viral video of a woman screaming ‘I’m a U.S. citizen’ as ICE agents pulled...

Former Democratic strategist James Carville has predicted a 'wipeout' for Republicans at the 2026 midterms. On Saturday, Carville forecast a startling loss for Republicans in the upcoming midterms, with Democrats managing to pick up a 'minimum' of 25 seats and likely regain control of the Senate. 'Frankly, it's going to be a wipeout,' Carville told Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany on Saturday in America. 'Your viewers need to know that the Democrats are going to pick up at a minimum 25 seats, maybe as high as 45. In all likelihood, the Democrats will carry the Senate.'

La Brújula Verde reports that a bone stylus dated to the fifth century B.C. was unearthed in southern Sicily during an archaeological investigation conducted in advance of a construction project. The five-inch stylus was recovered from an area with a paved surface and collapsed structures that are thought to have been used as workshops in the Greek colony. The top of the stylus is carved with a man’s head, perhaps representing Dionysus as a herm or a bust in a squared stone pillar. The central part of the pillar features a carving of a phallus. Archaeologist Gianluca Calà, excavation director...

A New Hampshire Episcopal bishop's stark warning to his clergy is resonating across the nation, drawing fervent praise from some and rebukes from others. Bishop Rob Hirschfeld was one of several community and faith leaders gathered in Concord, N.H., for a vigil for Renee Macklin Good just days after she was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis. Keir Starmer joined European allies warning of a 'dangerous downward spiral' in Nato today after Donald Trump threatened a trade war over Greenland. A joint statement from Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK said they stood 'firmly behind' the 'principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity'. The president has shocked the military alliance by warning that opponents of an American takeover of the Danish territory will be hit with punitive tariffs from February 1. In a bombshell post on his social media site, Mr Trump said levies will start at 10 per cent - and potentially...

The U.S. Geological Survey said a new assessment shows the Permian Basin in Texas contains an estimated 1.6 billion barrels of undiscovered, technically recoverable oil and 28.3 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in the Woodford and Barnett shale formations. The findings highlight major untapped energy potential deep beneath West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. According to the USGS, the two formations could also yield about 813 million barrels of natural gas liquids. At current consumption levels, the oil alone would supply the United States for roughly 10 weeks, while the natural gas could meet national demand for about 10...

After weeks of mounting backlash and public outrage, the Salem City Council voted to remove Kyle Hedquist — a man convicted of murdering a teenager — from boards advising the Oregon city’s police and fire departments, undoing a controversial reappointment approved just weeks earlier. The council voted 6 to 2 during a special meeting to revoke Hedquist’s appointments to the Community Police Review Board and the Civil Service Commission, according to the Salem Statesman Journal. The decision overturned a narrow 5-to-4 vote on Dec. 8 that reappointed Hedquist to multiple public safety-related boards despite a recommendation from the Boards and...

NUUK, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Denmark's Joint Arctic Command in Greenland is focused on countering potential Russian activity, not defending against U.S. military threats, its head Major General Soren Andersen said on Friday, amid renewed attention on the Arctic region. U.S. President Donald Trumphas repeatedly described Greenland as vital to U.S. security and has even declined to rule out the use of force to take control of the vast autonomous Arctic island, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. "My focus is not toward the U.S., not at all. My focus is on Russia," Andersen told Reuters on board...

As its immigration crackdown in Minneapolis intensifies, the Trump administration is leaning into messaging that borrows from phrases, images and music about national identity that have become popular among right-wing groups. ...The administration says it’s tired of criticism that its messaging is framed around white supremacy or Nazi slogans. “It seems that the mainstream media has become a meme of their own: The deranged leftist who claims everything they dislike must be Nazi propaganda,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said. “This line of attack is boring and tired. Get a grip." César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández, a law professor at Ohio...

In a candid admission that’s turning heads, legendary New York sports radio host Mike Francesa conceded that red state cities are now more attractive to NFL coaches than New York City. Speaking on his show, amid reports that John Harbaugh is poised to become the next head coach of the New York Giants, Francesa argued that red-state, no- or low-tax cities offer a superior quality of life, safety, and financial incentives compared to New York. Francesa, long known as the “Sports Pope” for his passionate advocacy of all things New York sports, painted a stark picture of the city’s decline.
