Elon Musk is on the verge of becoming the first person ever worth $800 billion. Musk’s xAI Holdings raised $20 billion from private investors at a $250 billion valuation earlier this month, Forbes just confirmed.
That’s up from the $113 billion valuation Musk claimed when he merged his artificial intelligence startup xAI with his social media company X (formerly Twitter) last March. Forbes estimates that the deal boosted the value of Musk’s 49% stake in xAI Holdings by $62 billion to $122 billion. The world’s richest person by far, Musk is now worth a record $780 billion, according to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires List.

And with SpaceX going public this year, he is going to shoot over $1T.
The envy crowd is going to lose their small minds.
HOORAY Elon!
Not that he asked me, but I suggest that Musk use a fraction of that money to counter the political spending by the odious Soros family.
And since Musk knows what George Soros is all about, I suspect that just might happen (if it’s not already happening).
Easily he will surpass 1T probably closing in on 1.5T, I read recently the most recent valuation of SpaceX is 1.2T and Musk owns a reported 40-45% stake in the company.
Jasmine Crockett called Musk an idiot
Lean harder, if you think Soros is pending his own money. ;-)
The question is how much he MAKES (read STEALS) from his different political activities.
I’ve met too many rich people. Usually, they’re the cheapest bastards in the room.
That is certainly one of the best things I have heard suggested on FR.
“I suggest that Musk use a fraction of that money to counter the political spending by the odious Soros family.”
I believe he is, to some extent. And the truth is that we have NO IDEA how he’s doing that behind the scenes.

I can’t understand what people are so jealous of the guy. If he can figure out a way to make a trillion dollars—good for him. I think what a lot of people miss is that when he makes a trillion, a few thousand of his “workers” make millions. Thousands of his investors make millions.
And all of those people are paying taxes.
The current velocity of money is about 1.4X. So those millions go ‘round and ‘round through the system, making more people rich.
The small minded morons don’t understand how this stuff works.
Maybe in the future he will but right now he doesn’t really own that many luxuries except for a private jet, which he obviously uses extensively.
He doesn’t own a super yacht, multiple palatial estates, fleets of luxury cars, etc., he does have a bunch of children with a number of different women that he is paying for and by all reports, he works continually.
That’ll buy a lot of baby mama’s. Just like the kings in biblical times.
The small minded morons don’t understand how this stuff works.

They’ll never understand.
Envy and conspiracy theories are more to their liking.
To have ownership of $800 BILLION Dollars is so (stratospherically) far from my comprehension, it’s not even funny. If I had ‘only’ one billion to spend, first thing I’d do is to buy property, invest in gold futures, build hospitals and re-hab clinics in rural areas. Research foods and nutrients from the oceans. Foundations that would help support families of minor children.
**I never did see that broadway play ‘If I was a Rich Man’.
It was quite popular for several years in New York.
When is SpaceX going public?
Most of his wealth is on paper.
Yep, I agree...although imagine Elon's confusion of which foam dice to buy to hang on his car's rear view mirror.
good thing his businesses are no longer incorporated in delaware ...
