NORFOLK, Virginia — Former President Barack Obama lambasted his successor, President Donald Trump, on Saturday as part of his appeal to boost voter support for Abigail Spanberger, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Virginia.“We’ve got a president who thinks it’s OK to use the Justice Department to go after his political opponents,” Obama said at the Ted Constant Convocation Center as the audience jeered. “Don’t boo, vote,” Obama quipped, referencing his usual get-out-the-vote phrase on the same day that early voting ends in Virginia. “We’ve got a commander-in-chief who fires decorated officers because he thinks they might be more loyal to...

Shortly after October 7, 2023, Israeli forces sorting through the remains of the 1,200 people killed during the deadliest attack on Israel since the 1973 Yom Kippur war recovered drones that Hamas and other Iranian proxies had used to target Israeli civilians. Officials found that the unmanned aerial vehicles contained multiple U.S.-origin electronic components, and further investigation showed that these parts had been procured by Chinese firms then transferred to Iranian front companies, which in turn passed them on to Hamas. The Iranians distributed U.S.-made technology bought by the Chinese to other proxies as well, including the Houthi rebels, who...

Beijing’s nationwide wave of raids on independent churches marks an escalation in the CCP’s war on faith unseen since the days of Mao’s Red GuardsWhen police stormed homes across nine provinces on the night of Oct. 9, 2025, it marked more than just another chapter in China’s decades-long persecution of faith.
