The Soros clan, along with other family foundations of the liberal elite, Knight, MacArthur, Ford, Omidyar, and the Rockefellers, have announced that they’re teaming up to fight investigations by the Justice Department. While Alex Soros, George’s son, bragged that he would not give in, “over my dead body”, the presidents of the MacArthur and McKnight Foundations have declared that everyone needs to dust off their “crisis plans” and put their “legal teams on speed dial” ahead of a crackdown. What are they afraid of? The Unite in Advance coalition was formed so quickly by the big liberal grantmaking groups funding...

Can a Christian be a communist? I answer that question with an emphatic “no.” In the first place, it leaves out God and Jesus Christ. It regards religion intellectually as the product of fear and ignorance. And it regards religion historically as an instrument serving the ends of exploiters. A second reason that we can’t accept communism is that its methods are opposed to Christianity. Since for the communist there is no divine or absolute moral order…force, violence, murder, and lying are all justifiable means to bring about the millennial end… In the third place, we have to disagree with...

The term Jew is used in at least two senses in Scripture: to refer to those who are ethnically Jews and to those who are religiously Jews. Jesus was a Jew in both senses. In fact, he completed the Jewish religion by serving as the Messiah (Christ) whom the prophets had long foretold. The completed form of the Jewish religion is known as Christianity, and its adherents are Christians or “followers of the Christ.” Unfortunately, many people who were ethnically Jewish did not recognize Jesus’ role as Messiah and so did not accept Christianity, the completed form of Judaism. Instead,...

Democratic politicians throughout California — those already in office and those who want in — assume that voters will rearrange the state’s 52 congressional districts next month and create new career opportunities. The assumption is well grounded. A recent CBS News poll found 62% of the state’s likely voters, driven by disdain for President Donald Trump, will enact Proposition 50, a plan to shift five more congressional seats to Democrats even though they already have 43. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s gerrymander would offset pro-Republican redistricting schemes in Texas and other states that Trump seeks to retain, or perhaps expand, the GOP’s...

“The View” is getting a visit from Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene next week. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg revealed the news on Thursday morning, as the ABC hosts discussed the ongoing government shutdown, and how some Republicans are responding. “People in Washington are starting to say ‘my constituents.’ You know, they’re starting to remember why they’re there,” Whoopi praised. “Because you don’t get there without people putting you there.” The moderator noted that Greene has been saying that a lot lately… “I’m happy to say that she’s gonna be here on Tuesday,” Whoopi said. “I don’t know how many things we...

Nicole Scherzinger, frontwoman for the female-led pop group The Pussycat Dolls, Broadway titan, and former The Masked Singer judge, opened up about her Christian faith, saying it gets a “bad rap” these days. Scherzinger revealed in a lengthy interview with Variety that her grandparents – Tutu and Papa – helped instill in her a deep faith. “Mom worked multiple jobs while Papa, a Marine, and Tutu helped raise the little girl, instilling a deep faith in her that remains a bedrock to this day,” Variety noted. Scherzinger revealed to Variety her gold Orthodox crucifix “My papa started out as an...

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is torching his own party as the federal shutdown threatens to cut off food assistance for millions — and he’s warning Democrats are playing a dangerous political game. The Pennsylvania Democrat blasted his colleagues Tuesday as officials from 25 states and Washington, D.C., sued President Donald Trump’s administration over the suspension of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program funding. The USDA has refused to dip into a roughly $5 billion reserve to cover November benefits, saying “contingency funds are not legally available to cover regular benefits.” States that pay upfront won’t be reimbursed. Democrats and advocacy groups insist...

This isn't something you hear often, but Andrew Cuomo is right. Yesterday, Townhall reported that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are using the Democratic Party to infiltrate American elections and usher in the socialist takeover of the United States. Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist, is the trial balloon. Radical Leftists have also been taking over the Democratic Party for years; they're likely the reason the Democrats haven't voted to reopen the government. As Scott Jennings noted, the Democratic leadership is afraid of this increasingly violent, radical base. "The truth is, there's a quiet civil war going on in the...

The man at the heart of a high-stakes mix-up that rippled through global political journalism in the final days of the New York mayoral campaign was neither “falsely claiming” to be former Mayor Bill de Blasio — as the Times of London suggested — nor, as The New York Times wrote, a “de Blasio impersonator.” He is, instead, a 59-year-old Long Island wine importer named Bill DeBlasio, who merely responded to an email from a journalist seeking his views on Democrat Zohran Mamdani’s policies. “I’m Bill DeBlasio. I’ve always been Bill DeBlasio,” DeBlasio said in an interview conducted Wednesday evening...

A University of North Florida professor was fired Tuesday for comments he made in class relating to the assassination of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk in September. The professor, Jacob McElroy, was a visiting instructor in the UNF English department. McElroy’s termination letter from the provost alleges that he threatened to “f___’n shoot everyone” in his freshman English class and claims that McElroy made several other serious threats. However, McElroy and at least two student witnesses say this was all a big misunderstanding. In the notice to McElroy on Sept. 18, Patterson wrote, “This action is being taken because of a...

Helen Andrew’s article in Compact Magazine about The Great Feminization has caused a stir, particularly her observation about the rule of law. We covered it in “Wokeness is Feminization”: ================================================================================== The Great Feminization is truly unprecedented. Other civilizations have given women the vote, granted them property rights, or let them inherit the thrones of empires. No civilization in human history has ever experimented with letting women control so many vital institutions of our society, from political parties to universities to our largest businesses…. Feminization is not an organic result of women outcompeting men. It is an artificial result of social...

Socialist mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani fervently shouted about defunding “Israeli settler violence” at a Big Apple rally — just months before Hamas carried out its deadly Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack, newly surfaced video shows. Mamdani was filmed repeatedly leading chants of “not on our dime” at the anti-Israel demonstration in Midtown Manhattan back in July 2023. “That’s what we’re calling for. We are calling for it because we know that the days of inconsistency, the days of drawing the lines in Palestine, those days are over,” he told the crowd.

Daily Readings from the USCCB“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how many times I yearned to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were unwilling!” Luke 13:34It’s helpful to ponder the Sacred Heart of Jesus. His heart is one that is strong and gentle, compassionate and just, merciful and truthful. In this Gospel passage, we are given a glimpse of Jesus’ love for the people of Jerusalem. He was not expressing His love for the city, but for the people in the city. It is...

The design is modeled on the Prisoner’s Dilemma, a classic game theory scenario involving two players who independently choose between cooperation and defection.obe University researchers have unveiled an interactive web application that transforms the abstract concepts of quantum game theory into a tangible, musical experience, drawing parallels with the “emergent dialogue” in jazz and improvisational music. This development is the world’s first browser-based interactive music system built on quantum game theory, and it offers users real-time visual and auditory feedback on how their strategic decisions intertwine. The project, led by quantum engineer Souma Satofumi, aims to bridge a significant...

One year has passed since the devastating DANA floods tore through communities across the Valencia region, claiming lives, destroying homes, and sweeping away livelihoods. Yet for many of those affected, the most striking part of the tragedy is not the disaster itself, but what followed, or rather, what did not. Survivors and local mayors across the region have repeatedly highlighted the failures of the emergency warning system, the slow mobilisation of state assistance, and an ongoing compensation process that has left hundreds still financially stranded. Today, as the first anniversary approaches, many families remain in temporary accommodation, rebuilding without the...
