Rolling Stone was hit with a series of high-profile layoffs this week, which we can only hope means the magazine will get what it deserves: a long, slow, painful, and humiliating death. “An unknown number of Rolling Stone staff, including some of the storied publication’s most prominent voices, were laid off on Monday,” reports the far-left Wrap. Tee hee. Those s******ed include “executive digital director Lisa Tozzi, chief television critic Alan Sepinwall and copy chief Steven Pearl.” Learn to coalmine. …

Popular conservative creator Matt Walsh called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired immediately after she said businesses must allow fans of Charlie Kirk to print posters in honor of the slain Turning Point USA founder. Walsh said that comment, to go along with Bondi’s recent statement on targeting “hate speech” against Kirk, as well as her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, make it clear President Donald Trump needs to fire her. “Get rid of her. Today. This is insane,” Walsh posted on X on Tuesday, in response to a clip of Bondi talking about companies not being...

Louisiana Republican Sen. John Kennedy pressed FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday to continue the release of files in the Jeffrey Epstein case, specifically information about who other than Epstein, if anyone, was on the receiving end of girls and women being sex trafficked. “The issue’s not gonna go away,” said Kennedy during the Senate Judiciary Committee’s FBI oversight hearing, where Patel was testifying. “I think you’re gonna have to do more to satisfy the American people’s understandable curiosity in that regard.” Kennedy’s comments were notable as the Trump administration battles complaints about the Justice Department’s slow, piecemeal approach to...

A 12-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a series of violent robberies of homeless or vulnerable people in downtown Toronto last month. “This was a disturbing crime spree,” Toronto Police Det. Stacey McCabe, of the Homicide and Missing Persons Unit, told a press conference Monday. “It’s concerning that these young people would be targeting such vulnerable members of our city.” The Aug. 31 spree involved five incidents including one at 6:08 a.m. that police say turned fatal. Heather Cox Richardson, a center-left historian with the biggest following out of any individual on Substack, spread an appalling lie about Charlie Kirk’s assassin in a post published Sunday. Richardson has over 2.6 million subscribers to her Substack, a newsletter presumably read by scores of center-left, ‘normie’ liberals. She is a history professor at Boston College, has interviewed former President Joe Biden, and is planning to interview with The Bulwark. By no means is she a fringe figure, nor is she, at least on the surface, a radical; if anything, she is someone who would be welcomed on a show...

There are a whole lot of people who need to make that admission in public more than I do. But I don’t mind being first. It’s the truth, and I’d like to explain why. I never paid that much attention to Charlie Kirk when he was alive. I knew who he was, what a prodigy he seemed to be, and that more and more people on the right were listening to him. But I’m not his target audience: young. So I just said, “Okay, good luck,” and went on with my day. But years ago, Kirk figured out something that...

He was the keeper of the tribe’s soul.Through his stories, children learned who they were supposed to be. The brave were praised, the cowardly shamed. The heroes were honored with tales that would last generations, while...

The body of 21-year-old student Demartravion “Trey” Reed was found hanging in a tree on the campus of Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi on Monday. Campus police chief Michale J. Peeler told reporters no foul play is suspected and the death is considered a suicide, despite no official cause of death yet being released by the county coroner’s office. Members of Reed’s family have stated both his arms and one of his legs were also broken, however police have disputed this. "At this time, there is no evidence of foul play," Peeler said. "But while there is no evidence...

[Catholic Caucus] The Death of Europe | Will Leo XIV visit Lampedusa? A Grave Mistake -- and the Lampedusans themselves would not be happyery few things made European Catholics more unhappy with Francis than his tone-deaf approach to the criminal enterprise bringing millions of illegal migrants to Europe, and deeply changing the demographics, religion, and criminality of vast areas of the Continent. And the main early symbol of that attitude was Francis' visit to one of the most popular destinations used by the people-smuggling gangs: the small island of Lampedusa, in Sicily. Lampedusa was, for instance, the first spot in Europe...
