BRANDON, Fla. — A woman involved in a road rage shooting in Brandon was arrested on Thursday afternoon. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrived at South Hilltop Road and West Brandon Boulevard around 2:19 p.m. when they were notified about the shooting. Deputies found 21-year-old Aiden Richards, who had been shot, as well as the other party involved. According to an investigation, detectives said both parties had stopped at a red light and "engaged in an altercation," which led to Richards firing a gun at the other vehicle multiple times. The other driver then fired a gun back...

Vice President JD Vance responded to criticism of President Donald Trump by isolationist right figures such as Tucker Carlson, who oppose America's support for Israel's operation against Iran's nuclear weapons program. "Look, I'm seeing this from the inside, and am admittedly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there's a lot of crazy stuff on social media, so I wanted to address some things directly on the Iran issue: First, POTUS has been amazingly consistent, over 10 years, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Over the last few months, he encouraged his foreign policy team to reach a...

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) introduced a resolution Monday seeking to prevent the U.S. from getting involved in a military conflict with Iran without congressional approval. The resolution reaffirms existing law, directing the president to end any use of the U.S. armed forces “for hostilities” against Iran “unless explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or specific authorization for use of military force against Iran.” The resolution expresses concern about the potential for U.S. involvement in the escalating military crisis between Iran and Israel, but it specifies that the U.S. can still defend itself “from imminent attack.” “It is not in...

The ideological battle over what “America First” means in the Trump era is intensifying in wake of Israel’s strikes on Iran, splitting the MAGA right and testing its relationships with the president. On one side, noninterventionist doves insist the Trumpian tagline means the president must avoid U.S. troops, resources or dollars going toward the conflict, for fear of getting dragged into an endless war. “Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) posted Sunday on the social platform X. But on the other end, foreign policy...

We are looking into filing a lawsuit against the hospital that my wife was just in for a month. Let me give you her story and see if anybody has some advice for us. On Friday May 9th at 9am, I took my wife to the ER because she was having abdominal pain that we suspected was a bad appendix. By 11:30am it was confirmed that indeed her appendix was inflamed and needed to come out. My wife said well happy Mother’s Day to me and the PA responded, don’t worry this is no big deal, 3 little incisions, and...

City comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested by ICE agents Tuesday in a chaotic scene outside a federal immigration court, his mayoral campaign confirmed. Video showed Lander repeatedly demanding to see a judicial warrant for a man being hauled away by immigration agents – all while he kept his hand clutched on the detainee’s shoulder. After Lander refused to let go, a voice could be heard saying, “Take him in,” prompting agents to cuff him. “You don’t have the authority to arrest US citizens,” Lander repeated in protest, according to video shared by an amNY reporter. Sources told...

President says U.S. knows location of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. President Trump called on Iran to surrender without conditions to bring an end to its dayslong conflict with Israel, saying the U.S. knew the location of the country’s leader but was choosing not to take any action. “He is an easy target, but is safe there—We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.” Trump made the comments as the U.S. expanded its military footprint in the region where the war between Israel and Iran entered a fifth day. The president left a...

Former New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez turned himself in to federal prison on Tuesday for an 11-year sentence after he was found guilty on bribery and corruption charges. Last year, Menendez was found guilty on all 16 counts, including extortion, obstruction of justice, acting as a foreign agent for Egypt, bribery, and conspiracy. He had accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of bribes from three once-prominent New Jersey businessmen — Wael Hana, Fred Daibes, and Jose Uribe. He was the first sitting member of Congress to be convicted of acting as a foreign agent. Menendez had been chairman of...

War-Pig Lindsey Graham is itching for another endless war.Appearing on Fox News Monday night, Graham called for direct U.S. military involvement alongside Israel and floated the idea of an outright regime change in Tehran.Apparently, diplomacy is just a speed bump for Graham on the highway to regime change. In his own words, Graham praised President Trump, saying the time has come for America to go “all in” to “help Israel eliminate the nuclear threat.” Translation? More bombs, more blood, more American involvement. But Graham didn’t stop at just military strikes. He’s now openly calling for regime change in Iran.War-Pig Lindsey Graham:...

WASHINGTON — One of the most powerful men in the Trump administration, tasked with vetting thousands of staffers, hasn’t been fully vetted himself, The Post has learned. Sergio Gor — the director of presidential personnel who recently convinced President Trump to yank an Elon Musk-endorsed nominee for NASA — has yet to submit official paperwork about his own background needed for a permanent security clearance, according to multiple sources. ... Among the questions applicants must answer under threat of criminal penalties is where they were born and whether they have any foreign connections. Gor claims to be from the island...

President Donald Trump and Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, were supposed to meet on the sidelines of the Group of Seven leaders’ summit in Canada, one day after Trump complained that Russia should never have been removed from the organization. But Trump's premature departure from the summit on Monday, citing Israel's war with Iran in the Middle East, upended those plans and Zelensky's latest opportunity to plead his country's case to the president, proving Zelensky's challenge is not only Trump himself but his many competing priorities. During last year’s campaign, Trump promised he would end the Russia-Ukraine war on his first...

A bear shot in Alaska last year officially set the new world record for a hunter-killed grizzly and is a stunning trophy, an expert Wyoming hunter said. It’s definitely not a “meathead” bear, Guy Eastman of Cody — who has hunted grizzlies in Alaska and Canada — told Cowboy State Daily. He was referring to how sometimes bears can have large heads, but only average-sized skulls. And skull measurements are what determine a bear’s trophy status. Brian van Lanen shot the male bear, estimated to be 20-25 years old, in September 2024. He was guided on a combination moose and...

Think you know what bosses are looking for? Think again. Getting hired and promoted used to hinge on traditional leadership traits like executive presence and vision. But in today’s world, those aren’t enough. As a CEO, board member and MBA professor, my research shows that a sharper, more relevant set of criteria is rising to the top. And it’s long overdue. At NYU’s Stern School of Business, I teach a popular class called “Becoming You.” Students start by identifying their values using a tool called The Values Bridge, then explore careers that match their aptitudes and emotional, intellectual and economic...

President Donald Trump appeared to confirm that the United States is now a part of Israel’s attack on Iran during a Tuesday morning social media post. Amid growing tensions of an escalating conflict following last week’s attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, questions have arisen over the United States’ involvement. Using the word “We,” Trump wrote Tuesday morning, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran.” While a bitter debate within MAGA rages between a pro-Israel interventionist sect and an isolationist “America First” portion, experts are wondering about the geopolitical instability that has been caused by Israel’s...

The IDF on Tuesday said that it has a ready plan for striking Iran's underground Fordow nuclear facility the moment that the political echelon gives the order. Until now, IDF officials have been evasive when asked about when they would attack Fordow, though there were a few open denials that the IDF had already attacked Fordow, when such false reports came out over the weekend. Fordow is the most important Iranian nuclear facility, which the IDF has not yet touched, but it poses unique challenges, as it lies underneath a mountain.

Analysis of swabs from China's Tiangong Space Station has revealed a new strain of bacteria sporting new adaptations for surviving outer space. Scientists have discovered a new microbe never-before-seen on Earth inside China's Tiangong space station. The new strain of bacteria, named Niallia tiangongensis after the space station, is a variant of a soil-dwelling terrestrial microbe that can cause sepsis, and was found inside one of the station's cabins. Now, a new analysis of the strain has revealed that the bacterium isn't only one of a kind, but has also picked up some key adaptations that could be helpful in...

The anti-war Jewish left has begun congregating in a new, rather unexpected clubhouse: The Tucker Carlson Show. In his newest incarnation, Carlson has gone full populist, venting at globalist elitists and bludgeoning U.S. foreign policy as overly interventionist. Ordinarily, this second criticism is a left-wing argument. But we're living through a time of profound political transformation, and since October 7 and U.S. President Donald Trump's reelection, the populist right has also been finding its voice on Israel – and it sounds like what one might find reverberating in
