President says U.S. knows location of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
President Trump called on Iran to surrender without conditions to bring an end to its dayslong conflict with Israel, saying the U.S. knew the location of the country’s leader but was choosing not to take any action. “He is an easy target, but is safe there—We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”
Trump made the comments as the U.S. expanded its military footprint in the region where the war between Israel and Iran entered a fifth day. The president left a G-7 summit in Canada early saying he wasn’t doing so to work on a cease-fire but for something “much bigger than that.” Asked to clarify, Trump said he wanted “an end, a real end, not a cease-fire.”
The White House said the U.S. isn’t joining Israel’s attacks on Iran, amid speculation fueled by recent military buildup in the region. A third U.S. Navy destroyer entered the eastern Mediterranean Sea to help defend Israel, and a second U.S. carrier strike group is heading toward the Arabian Sea. Tanker aircraft that could potentially help refuel Israeli jet fighters also appeared to be heading to the region, according to flight trackers and people familiar with the matter.
While the Pentagon says the military buildup is purely defensive, it puts the U.S. on a firmer footing to join Israeli attacks on Iran should Trump decide to do that. Alternatively, it could be a tactic to pressure Iran to capitulate or make concessions.

I doubt the Ayatollah is such an easy target after all this. Ridiculous warning and 5 days after the attack started.
Well whatever Israel and Trump have planned for Iran God has prior plans for Iran and his will override those as Iran and Russia, others will invade Israel and will meet a very, very bad end.
1) Unconditional surrender.
2) Send in engineer teams to destroy all underground facilities on site.
3) No need for “bunker busters” and direct US involvement.
Methinks that saving face is an element that should come into play here.
HOWEVER:
If the humiliation gets the upper crust to turn on each other than go for the kicking while they’re down.
Yeah Trump should have checked with you first.

Probably the most important thing to deal with is regime change when the power vacuum is created with the departure of the mullahs. Who will fill it? Who will orchestrate the filling. Israel is not positioned for this job and we should only do it if we don’t require troops. It is a nation of 90 million and we sure don’t want it either. Russia probably does not want it, they have their own problem and future problem in Ukraine, China may want it but probably only wants the oil. We don’t care if they buy the oil and in fact that would be best for the replacement regime.
Yeah and if the US is going to bomb the Fordow plant, Iran already knows, cant they shoot down our bomber jet they will be on the lookout for it, that is what Im afraid of

Calling for unconditional surrender is entirely justified when dealing with one who publicly clamors to kill you, indeed it is a humane response.
Trump is running real time psych ops on the Iranian leadership.
Exactly! The Iranian people welcomed Khomeini and his successor, Khamenei, and they need to be the ones who rid themselves of them. They need to be the ones to close this chapter of their history.
He might be running real time psych ops on the American public too.
I detest the Iranian leadership, but I haven’t seen much clamoring to kill us, except in revenge for an attack on them.
