Millions of people around the world are tuning it watch the Swedish moose migrate to their summer grazing pastures. "Den Stora Älgvandringen" aka "The Great Moose Migration" is an example of what is known as "slow TV", where people watch nature on live-capture cameras, instead of going out and experiencing it for themselves. The moose live feed runs for 20 days, 24/7, and includes the moose walking the same trek they have for 1000s of years, including crossing the Ångerman River, 186 miles north of Stockholm. https://www.svtplay.se/den-stora-algvandringen We have the same thing here in the states like this eagle live...

Research supports the effectiveness of a kinesiology-based method to treat lower back pain, say study authors. Low back pain is the leading cause of late-life disability, affecting nearly 700 million globally. Those suffering from low back pain can now find relief through the scientifically supported Canali Postural Method (CPM) in the prevention of postural dysfunctions, and in post-rehabilitation functional recovery aimed at optimizing physical efficiency. Therapists evaluated and compared the effects of applying two kinesiological approaches; a generic exercise program and one based on CPM. They found that the CPM group experienced significantly greater pain relief both immediately after the...

More often than not, Jill Biden gets it right with her fashion choices (remember that stunning 2024 DNC outfit?) But, much like Ivanka Trump's outfits that missed the mark, the former first lady proved having designers falling over themselves to dress you — and a no doubt impressive fashion budget — still doesn't guarantee a great outfit.Being one of the most visible people in the world during her time in the White House meant Jill had to think hard about her outfits, which she admitted came as a surprise. "It's kind of surprising, I think, how much commentary is made...

The inhabitants of Montchavin in the French Alps knew something was killing them. They just didn't know what. Some wondered whether lead from a disused mine in the village had leaked into the water supply. Others thought mobile phone masts were to blame. One woman believed the area was cursed. Between 1991 and 2019, 16 people – almost a tenth of the area's 200-strong population – were diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a fatal condition more commonly known as motor neurone disease (MND). In other words, if you lived in Montchavin, you were 20 times more likely to contract MND...

Their big news “hook” is that after a solid few rounds of grappling, I injured my shoulder. Because it’s Adam Goldman, you can generally assume he’s wrong, and he is, again. The instructor I was grappling with got the best of me, because he’s incredibly talented. That’s why he’s there. And it was my not an “injury” but a bit of swelling in my right elbow, not shoulder, because I’m 50 years old and I can’t recover like I used to. But I felt it was important to get on the mats any way, because that’s what men do. But...

Nearly 70% of Americans plan to celebrate Easter in some form this year, according to new polling. Of the 69% who say they do plan to celebrate, 36% will celebrate it primarily as a religious holiday, 13% will celebrate it as a secular one, and 19% will celebrate it as both, according to the polling from Napolitan News Service. The 69% figure is down slightly from previous years, when 73% to 74% of registered voters said they would celebrate between 2022 and 2024. More than half – 52% – who are celebrating said they would do so as a religious...

He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for...

Democratic figures and even the former first family’s aides are saying that former President Biden needs to stay out of politics, according to a new report from “The Hill.” The outlet’s senior political correspondent, Amie Parnes, spoke to former first lady Jill Biden’s communications director Michael LaRosa, who stated that Biden’s staff needs to steer him away from the spotlight because the party is not interested in seeing him. “If they had advisers who had their hand on the pulse of the Democratic Party or national politics, they would have understood the intense level of anger or indifference to them...

New Rule: The Not-Working Class | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)The latest leftist argument against Trump's efforts to bring jobs back are that Americans, especially Gen-Z, don't want the jobs. There are two problems with this.First, not all Gen-Zrs are deadbeats. As Bill Maher himself pointed out, that is painting with a broad brush. Many would take those jobs.Second, it wasn't only manufacturing jobs that were offshored. Tech jobs were offshored, too. I think it's even more important to get those jobs and our technology back.Maybe I'm missing the point, which was that this was meant to be tongue in...

Disco music’s time in the sun may have passed, but the legacy of “The Hustle,” a mega hit in the genre, lives onOn April 18, 1975, Van McCoy and the Soul City Symphony’s “The Hustle” was released and skyrocketed to become a massive dance hit of the decade, selling ten million records. The song and the dance it celebrated set the beat of the disco era. The record is known for its irresistible rhythm and its primary lyrical command: “Do the hustle,” which is said 11 times. The only other lyrics—said five times—are “Do it.” Before spending an hour to...

Dubai -- US airstrikes targeting an oil port held by Yemen’s Houthi rebels killed 74 people and wounded 171 others, the group said Friday, marking the single-deadliest known attack under President Donald Trump’s new campaign targeting the rebels. Assessing the toll of Trump’s campaign, which began March 15, has been incredibly difficult as the US military’s Central Command so far has not released any information on the campaign, its specific targets and how many people have been killed. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Houthi rebels strictly control access to areas attacked and don’t publish information on the strikes, many of which likely have...

In what might be the rarest admission ever on CNN, the hate-Trump network’s top legal analyst agrees with the White House — notably, aide Stephen Miller — that the U.S. Supreme Court did not order the Trump administration to bring a deported illegal alien back to the United States. Chief Legal Correspondent Paula Reid bluntly stated the upshot of the SCOTUS ruling in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal Salvadoran accused of membership in the feral MS-13 terror gang. “They did not,” she said of the ruling by the nine justices, “order the administration to return him to...
