Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) introduced the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act in the Senate on Thursday. His bill intended to take action to “put power back in the people’s hands instead of the administrative state,” read a press release about the bill. This specifically applies to the current process involving legislation in the government in which regulations go into effect unless explicitly disapproved by Congress. Under Paul’s proposal in the REINS Act, major rules would need to be approved by the legislative branch before going to the president for signature and approval. “The purpose of this...

I recently saw a video of a new dance style, sort of a 'street dance' style, like break dancing, but much more 'fluid'. Does anyone know the name of it? I'm trying to find it again, and can't; it had a particular name, and I'm not sure if the link I saw showed up here on FR, or somewhere else. Thanks!

A Democrat Michigan state representative announced on Wednesday that she underwent sterilization earlier this year to avoid pregnancy under the Trump administration, Michigan Advance reported. “Just under two weeks ago, I underwent surgery to ensure that I would never have to navigate a pregnancy in Donald Trump’s America,” said state Rep. Laurie Pohutsky (D-Livonia), who is openly bisexual. “I refuse to let my body be treated as currency by an administration that only sees value in my ability to procreate.” “If you know people who are questioning how serious this is, I’m going to repeat myself: A sitting government official...

Billionaire Elon Musk has criticized the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a nonprofit organization established by the U.S. government during Republican Ronald Reagan's presidency. "NED is a SCAM," Musk wrote on his social media platform X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, in response to a user who used Musk's artificial intelligence chatbot Grok to identify "red flags of corruption or concerns" with NED. Why It Matters Musk ... is running the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a Trump administration task force assigned to find ways to cut wasteful federal spending and "dismantle" government bureaucracy. Musk said in October that he could...

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump signed a sweeping execution order Monday on the death penalty that directs the attorney general to “take all necessary and lawful action” to ensure that states have enough lethal injection drugs to carry out executions. Trump’s order, coming just hours after he returned to the White House, compels the Justice Department to not only seek the death penalty in appropriate federal cases but also to help preserve capital punishment in states that have struggled to maintain adequate supplies of lethal injection drugs.

Would you post a sign announcing that your home is a gun-free zone? Would you feel safer? Criminals don’t obey these signs. In fact, these signs are a magnet for criminals because disarmed victims are seen as easy targets. . . . A deputy in uniform has a difficult job in stopping these attacks,” said Sheriff Kurt Hoffman in Sarasota County, Florida. “These terrorists have strategic advantages in determining the time and place of attacks. They can wait for a deputy to leave the area or pick an undefended location. Even when police or deputies are in the right place...

An Atlanta ‘pastor’ is calling on black Americans to observe Lent with a “40-day fast from Target” in protest of its DEI programs ending. Jamal Bryant is a political ideologue who cosplays as a Senior pastor every Sunday morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is quite an ironic name for a church that is pro-abortion and preaches the twisted false gospel of Liberation theology. A left-wing goat of a pastor and serial adulterer who was run out of his previous church because he could not keep his hands to himself, Bryant is known for his leftist political antics....

Kyle Becker @kylenabecker This is way bigger than the Politico scandal. U.S. taxpayers have been funding an obscure news agency called Internews Network for years. Internews is funded heavily by the U.S. government, primarily through USAID. There are 467 grants for Internews totaling a whopping $476.4 MILLION on the http://USASpending.gov website. These massive figures track with Internews' Form 990s, where it discloses tens of millions of dollars in government grants every year. What is Internews? The organization claims to be an "international nonprofit" that supports "independent media" in emerging democracies and uses media as a tool to reduce conflict. A...
